Guys why do you like exceptionally petite woman?

Men and women seem to have a different understanding of the word petite. As women, we see petite sizes in stores (which really just means short), and know whether we wear them or not. I have been called petite more times than I can count by men. I am 5'6! But I'm really tiny, small bone structure, 114 ponds, delicate features, narrow shoulders, etc. I'm obviously not petite at this height, but I guess I am small overall and it's misinterpreted as petite.

Why so much hate because he doesn't want to date fat chicks? What is it with heavy women so sensitive when guys don't find them attractive. I'm 5 feet and about 110 lbs and don't find tiny little men attractive, so I go for tall guys with a nice build. Friend of mine is 200 lbs her DH probably 130 soaking wet and shorter than she is. It's all about preference, and that's okay. People are allowed to have preferences. Bigger gals need to stop thinking men who don't find them attractive are pigs or mean or shallow. They just don't dig fat chicks.

I completely agree with you- it's ridiculous that overly-sensitive people are flipping out because of one person's preference, especially when it's likely they have physical preferences of their own.

The only thing is, at 110 pounds and 5 ft, you aren't petite. You a short, but a husky, sturdy thing.

+1. I am 5'6 and 115 and skinny, but if I were only 5 feet and only 5 lbs lighter, I certainly would not be tiny. Most people confuse "short" with "petite."

Yep. I'm 5'5 and 117. I don't consider myself all that skinny. I'm athletic. I would consider myself overweight if I were even 10 pounds heavier. 5'5 and 110 is thick.

You realize that you're short but hardly tiny at that height & weight, right?

She isn't tiny? That is interesting. I am 5' and between 98 and 100lb (depending on if I have my period or not or how many girl scout cookies I have eaten that week) and I get called pretty and tiny all the time.
I heard both of those yesterday. So PUH-LEASE. 5' is small.

Yes, 5 feet is small. 5 feet at 110 lbs, a person is certainly small in stature, but not thin and petite.

DD is 14, 5'8 1/2 and wishes she were 6'0 her friends are all 5'2-5'6 and also wish they were tall. She loves being on the taller side because it help she her athletically

What I find even more interesting is that you hardly ever, or I have never, run into a woman that prefers petite men or even men of a small stature. Why is that? Surely if a certain group of men can get with a girl that is <5 ft and <100lbs some women would go for the same in men. If not what does that show?
