I guess I’m just going to stare at this envelope until DC comes home, but it’s the right size/thickness and says “Congratulations” on the front.

Schools still USPS mail to announce acceptances? I don’t recall my two getting anything in the mail (other colleges, though, not PSU).

The acceptance phase of the process is really fun. After all that work and waiting. Reading the offer packages, being wined and dined at accepted students day. Enjoy!!

PSU is updating the portals for EA on a rolling basis. All should hopefully be done by Dec 24, but I’ve heard rumors some may be late. About 5-7 days after portal is updated, students are receiving mailed packets. Unfortunately, no emails directing you to check portal.

DS received acceptance letter in the mail a few weeks ago 2 weeks after it was in the portal. He had never checked.

Ivies sometimes use snail mail for acceptances. It depends on the context.
