Stop knocking on peoples' doors

Anonymous
Just had a group of Christians descend on my home. We have a glass door and they kept ringing the bell and knocking on the glass. I was on the phone and they could see me waving them off but kept knocking. I finally had to tell them to please leave. They were so rude and pushy. Kind of creepy. Who still does this? What church is this?

They have to or they go to hell.

They are now in my neighbor's yard. One stands in the driveway with an iPad. Then the group, either 2 women or a man/woman, approach the house and knock incessantly. They have weird frozen smiles and won't stop talking even when they are asked to leave.

The minder is watching.

Don’t answer the door. If the door is open, smile and wave and shut it.

You are not required to engage.

I just tell them that I worship the devil and if they don’t get off my doorstep, they too will experience the devil. They leave and do not return.

We have same issue every year around this time.

...trick or treaters!

What's the solution?
I might invite the door preachers to open the door to trick or treaters and encourage open pdiscussion

How do you know they were Christians? How many where there? They didn’t give you a card or flyer? The didn’t tell you about their church?

So you don’t know if they are Christians because you didn’t speak with them or get a flyer or card or anything telling you what church they were representing?

…you mean Jehovah’s Witnesses?

OP here. When I finally opened the door to make them stop knocking she handed me a pamphlet with quotes from the Bible but I didn’t take it. That’s how I know.

So you know that there were bible quotes on the paper but didn’t see the name of the church?

Or the denomination?

She just silently thrust a pamphlet at you?

I’ve never seen them in groups of 4.

What denomination sends out 4 people together in a group to go house to house?

And hand out pamphlets with only bible verses written on them, and do not identify themselves or their church?

Yes she handed me a little pamphlet which I didn’t take. I told her to stop knocking but didn’t ask them any questions.

For those of you who are doubters, you must live somewhere that doesn’t get these groups. But we do a few times a year and it’s so annoying. If this is your church reconsider!
