OP, if they are approaching 40 -- say, 37 years old or so -- and have not had much experience dating but want to make this happen, and especially if they have chronic health issues or other complicating factors, then now would be a good time to get a professional evaluation and help with moving forward.
Situations don't often change that much on their own. Not situations like this. There is help available, and people can develop new skills. |
