What are your current favorite baby names? Do you like traditional or modern and unique or unconventional spellings?
Check this out. :

I don't understand the Elliot train. Aren't there enough "Ellie" type names without using a very nerdy boy name? |
|
Jonquil
I know it sounds a little out there but I just love it, for either boy or girl |
Can you try to explain how it sounds? How it’s pronounced? |
I like it because it’s a 3 Syllable Way to get to Eli, and I kinda like the boys names for girl trend. Although I almost feel like this is a girls name at this point. |
“Ellie” not “Eli” *typo |
| Why say baby names? They are names, and the baby will have it as a teenager, in middle age, and as an old fart too. This frame of mind can really help in making a good choice. |
| Eden, Somerset and Kensington for a girl |
Like the flower. John-Kwill although I like a little shhh sound at the beginning so it sounds more like “Shawn-quill” |
There are three boy names on that list for girls. |
|
Girls: Clara, Aurelia, Penelope, Diana
Boys: Thomas, Henry, Nicholas, William, Erik, Peter |

Marzipan
Porcelana Allegra Stevia Blake (pronounced Buh-la-kay) Gyn (pronounced Gin) |

I'm not listing the names we actually used for our kids, but here are other ones I like
Girls: Veronica, Susannah, Bernadette, Mary Boys: Reuben, Abraham, Gabriel, Ezra |
Ah, I love your girls names, especially Diana. We are done having kids but if I had another girl I would name her Diana. I was worried people would assume it was a Princess Diana reference so we didn't use it and I regret it because I actually think only old people like me would make that connection (and Princess Diana was a kind, loving person so it's not a bad association). Also love Penelope. I am a big fan of names from Greek and Roman mythology but many of the women have horrible stories attached to them but Penelope and Diana are some of the small group that do not. I also love Selene/Selena, Calliope, and Helen/Helena. |
