But he is pretty like a girl. He basically has Emily Blunt's face.

His face is prettier. The crazy thing is he has BDE in all of his roles. Those cornflower eyes can confuse you. Gorgeous man and a great actor.

He is pretty, but I had to keep it cool watching him in Peaky Blinders next to my DH. Oozed sex appeal on that show.

Years ago, some magazine had an article about objective ideas of beauty, based on studies of what human brains find attractive. Apparently, facial symmetry is key -- people who are generally considered ideally good-looking are people whose faces are symmetrical; if you drew a vertical line down their forehead, nose and chin, the two halves of their faces would be symmetrical. The examples used to illustrate this were Denzel Washington (very symmetrical) and Lyle Lovett (very asymmetrical). I've thought about that ever since. Lyle may be the exemplar of asymmetry but who would change a single thing about all the character in that face?!

Ha he does have Emily Blunt’s face. Images are all the same, no facial expression. Anyone see significant cosmetic surgery there? Cheek implants and lip fillers? Eyes are a very pretty color, but dead eyes.

I would choose Denzel over Lyle. Even old Denzel.

Nah, if you look at photos of him very young he doesn't seem to have work done. As for the "dead eyes," in some roles that's not the case. Publicity photos seem to look that way, but he can act the expression into the eyes. (And I say this as someone who's not a huge fan, so no axe to grind re: talent or looks, I just don't think he's had work done.)

Eh, many of us would never say no to Denzel, but it's not fair to compare them anyway. Apples and oranges. I wrote that post to note that Lyle's got a lot of individuality and character, which many find attractive in him, alongside his very individual looks. Not that Denzel doesn't have ample character; its just that Denzel is objectively, textbook handsome and Lyle Lovett ain't.

I find Pete Davidson very sexy even though no one I know agrees.

There is just something about him that makes me want to hit that.

Also I find Bill Hader kinda hot too.

Both of these men are not traditionally hot by Hollywood standards but I would love to date either of them!

Me too.

Lyle is not attractive by any measure in my eyes - but he dated some beautiful women ..even married one.

Julia Roberts.
Plus he once dated Ashley Judd too when she used to be pretty.
