Entitled a-holes like…the kind of person who would put up a basketball hoop in front of their neighbor’s house instead of their own? |
How does this work? Then the parked car would be sticking out pretty far into the street which would be a problem. |
Agree. |
Yes street space for parking is at a premium on our street. Some houses have no driveways, others have just enough driveway room to park one car. |
My entitled neighbors put theirs on the sidewalk, not only blocking the sidewalk but blocking the handicap access. The HOA took care of that swiftly. Put it in front of your own house. |
The neighbor doesn’t own the street, even if it is *gasp* in front of their house! |
Sure but the basketball hoop owner doesn't own it either. Why do they get to put their hoop in a public street? |
No normal person would put it somewhere other than in front of their own house, unless they were an entitled a-hole |
Exactly, it is a nuisance to others when it's in front of someone else's house. |
SOOOOOO RUDE! Report them. |
Until I figured out what’s what, I would personally make sure that all three of our household cars were parked end to end under the basketball hoop and in front of my house |
Is it one of those portable units that they parked against the curb? I'd call the local police dept or whatever agency covers vehicle /parking enforcement and ask. If they permanently installed it behind the curb, I'd call code enforcement to get their opinion. |
Americans hate children, the outdoors, and physical activity. All are considered to be a nuisance. |
My husband minds the neighbor's business too. |
NP. Just put the hoop *in front of your own house*. What is so difficult about this concept for you? |
