Anyone watching this? I'm really enjoying the performances. Jennifer Coolidge and Connie Britton are so good. And the douchey honeymooning husband is how I always picture the DCUM business/finance husbands that their wives complain about--whiny manbabies who think the world revolves around them. |
I wanted to like it, but it just wasn’t funny. |
Agree, really enjoying it so far! |
I loved the first episode, the second one was okay. I’ll keep watching. |
I really appreciate the pathos of Jennifer Coolidge's performance. I'm so used to her nutty wackiness schtick, this is refreshing. |
That's ok, you can stick with King of Queens reruns. |
It is hilarious for this reason. |
I thought they only had episode one out. Is there more? |
Second episode came out last night. |
As my DS would say, it's "cringey" but I think it's supposed to make the viewer uncomfortable. Interesting show. |
I really liked it but I didn’t know until just now it’s supposed to be funny. Is it supposed to be? |
Yes. But in an awful way like it’s funny when someone falls. |
It's a satire. |
Love this show! It is funny but cringey.
Some spoilers: Did I need to see Steve Zahn’s actual scrotum in the scene about testicular cancer? Uhmmm, no. Jennifer Coolidge and Natasha Rothwell are both awesome. The hotel manager guy is great. I want something good to happen to the son who goes to sleep on the beach. |
I love it. The teenage girls are off the charts with their pills and self absorption, and it saddens me how realistic they are. I love the whiny man baby. I don’t know the actor, but he has been perfect cast. Connie is perfection. Everyone has a job here and does it well. Love the looony single lady who is obsessed with her masseuse. The shows cracks me up. |
