The percentage of crazy election deniers is not large enough to form a customer base to sustain that business, and his actions alienated enough of his other customers that he drove them away.

He's being attacked because he was advising Trump to declare martial law and disenfranchise tens of millions of US voters. You can't expect to get a free pass on that.
