I legit laughed so hard at this I spilled out my tea.

It's so perfect a description of her. The same clueless lack of self-awareness, the same desperate eagerness to please, the same Main Character Syndrome where, no matter what is happening she HAS to be the center of attention. Just like Michael Scott.

Is Tyler her Jan??

The amount of self soothing she does in her videos is staggering. The posing, hair touching is so distracting.

Jen said she had a few spots left in her speaking schedule this year- don’t popular speakers usually book out two years or so? I feel like in her (religious) heyday she was constantly on the road .
Has anyone seen her and Tyler speak together? He should be thanking God every day for her joining forces with him and increasing his audience 40 fold.

Jen’s not the same draw she was 8-10 years ago, not even close. Her last books were pretty much bombs and no one in my circle of women ever talk about her anymore. A decade ago she was a pretty big deal within the Kansas City church mom sphere. Nowadays she never comes up. And we’re all the same age and many of us used to buy her books.

Today is Good Friday, and I remember being so bewildered when, about 10 years ago, she compared her “mistreatment “ by some in the Christian community to Jesus’s suffering on Good Friday. And she never has apologized for it, or revisited it and revised it like her other writing (this piece was a blog post ). I can’t imagine living with someone with such a complex .

Thank you. I had an acquaintance who shared that post when it was made and I couldn't wrap my head around it. Insane.
