Oh, hello. You and your keen analyses are back. How does this latest package affect the front line, again? Projected outcome?

Honestly, you’re probably working in a troll farm spitting out bullsht or are a propaganda bot so I don’t give a fk what you think. lol. By the way, Ukraine is getting the funding. Hope it doesn’t ruin your day. Or if it does, it doesn’t matter because you’re a computer bot.

The people that spent 3 trillion dollars in Afghanistan to replace the Taliban with the Taliban bring you another p*ssing contest. Ukraine has virtually zero chance of winning the armed conflict.

As someone who wants to see the end of the Global American Empire (GAE), I actually support this bill. Its too little, too late to do much for Ukraine, while completely derailing any attempt to end the conflict peacefully. Every little thing like this takes away an off-ramp for Putin. He will be forced to see this conflict to its logical-conclusion.

I thought the GAE would conserve its resources for the Israeli and Taiwanese theaters, but they are throwing more resources into a losing bet. I really did think the smarter factions in Washington had won the day, but apparently not!

What? Ha! You’re a loon. America is the best. Suck it.

America is used to be the best, not anymore. Bills like this help to take US down.

And, proceed to wave Ukrainian flags on the House floor.

Narrator: in fact, Democrats voted for the border bill. It was Republicans who voted against it and killed it.

It's probably a good time for engagement as I don't see any circumstance where Western political support increases from this point forward.

I think if Ukraine ends up with something like Greek Cyprus they come out of this looking pretty good.

No point in negotiating an end now. Who would you even negotiate with? Zelensky's term ends in a month and no elections are scheduled. No future Ukrainian leader would feel bound by anything he agrees to now.

Secondly, Russia now decidedly has the upper hand. They are also ticked about the terror attacks of late. Further, they've basically said they want Odessa now. Ukraine would never agree to that.

Wouldn't it have been nicer to agree to things in Istanbul back then? Think of how many lives would have been spared.

And how much was Ukraine going to have to give up?

Wonder if Biden will again restrict weapon systems that can really hurt ten Russians? How about some planes Joe like the ones you give to Israel?

Silly.

The whole point of F-16s is that they would be based outside of Ukraine and flown by "mercenaries" not by Ukrainians. It would of course be a major escalation, which is what some people want.

$60B worth of Summer Counteroffensive coming your way, Vlad!

Sure. There are over 100 Ukrainian trained and qualified pilots. Try keeping on this side on reality.

This is unwinnable militarily for Ukraine. This statement has nothing to do with my preferences or support, just reality. Ukraine has wiped out a whole generation of males age 20 -50 and razed all infrastructure.

All because omg how can we not try to stop the evil Putin.
Russia will be significantly weakened also, no doubt, but for Ukraine it’s devastating

It's also an unwinnable war for Russia. They lost tens of thousands of soldiers just to take tiny little Adviivka and Bakhmut. There is no chance they take Kharkiv, Odessa, Kyiv, or any other major population center. Most of their armor is gone. A staggering 87 percent of the active duty ground forces they used for the invasion are gone.

Russian losses are breathtaking.

And for what? Best case scenario is decades of guerrilla warfare in Ukraine, a resurgent NATO, a rearmed Europe, and global pariah status until the end of time.
