China has a myriad of internal problems.

LOL and then he also said Ukraine needs a hundred kazillion dollars to fight this pathetic army of old men with no weapons because otherwise they'd be scaling the Eiffel Tower tomorrow.

Logic is out of fashion.

Thanks for the laugh. Russia will be irrelevant soon. But by all means talk them up, we all need a good laugh.

It's either a pathetic army with no weapons OR it's a threat to Europe as both things cannot be true at the same time.

If the Russian army is as bad as you say, why do Ukrainians need billions of dollars and massive military aid to fight it? And why should the rest of Europe be told to fear them?

Because even an untrained kid with a rifle from WalMart needs a properly trained and equipped police force to take them down before they murder more innocents during a rampage.

Are you sure that's not a talking point from the Raytheon marketing team?

Russia has 3,300 active tanks and another 8-10k in storage. Russia has 1.5 million active duty and 2.2 in reserves. The US contributes the most to NATO with 1.3 million active duty, next is Turkey 446k, France 207k, Germany 188k, etc. Germany has 320 tanks. Europe could not stop Russia without the US.

It can in America when you’re trying to get the Putin supporting GOP to send money. You really don’t know how politics works here.

Well if it is or is not, they are still going down. The weaponry may come from Raytheon or some other company. And what do these companies care who wins and loses? They win either way. Ukraine wins. The defense contractors win.

So you doubt Russia’s genocidal intent? Are you willing to do nothing to stop another genocide??

OMG.

Watch this from the Elie Wiesel Center for Jewish Studies, then get back to us:

I wonder why Mr Snyder was asleep when American jets were raining genocide in Iraq. Actually I don't wonder, I know: it's only genocide when it's done by the guy you don't like. Everything else is, like, a "regrettable mistake".

You’re response is a lame “whataboutism?”

Reality has shown that much of Russia's equipment in storage was left unmaintained, is rusted out, was stripped for parts, et cetera. Generally untenable. As for Russia's active duty and reserve troops, if that were true then why are they sending conscripts with minimal training to the front?

The Russia of 2020 is nowhere near the Soviet Union of 1980 in terms of operational capacity. Not even remotely.

It's a rather damning indictment to have your $15 million dollar Pantsir systems failing and getting captured because the wheel bearings are seized or because the tires are dry rotted.

You know it's bad when your conscripts are being issued ancient, rusted AK-47s

https://twitter.com/JayinKyiv/status/1573630329058983937

or Mosin Nagant rifles from 1891 and WWII helmets

$115 million dollar S-300 rocket system failures due to age and mishandling

A lot of this is very likely due to Putin's oligarch friends holding the contracts to maintain and replenish supplies, but instead stealing the money for yet another yacht, condo in Dubai, etc.

And yet....the West is tying itself in knots trying to raise a kazillion dollars to fight this paper tiger. If they are so lame, why is it taking so long to defeat them?
