Why are some people always so NICE?!

She's always super cheerful, calm and loving with her children (who of course are adorable and super nice), and never ever has a bad word to say about anyone. I have always wanted to be one of those genuinely kind people who everyone likes.

I hate nice people.

I think there is some truth to this.

I work in a health care setting, and I'd say about 40% off the patients who come through are on something - Xanax/Lexapro/Zoloft/Celexa.

So what if some of them are? Good for them for admitting they need help! I think you chose the wrong profession.

I think you're an enabler.

b/c drugs solve the world's problem . . .

Maybe they just came back from Colorado or Washington.

Was gonna say this too. Lots of people who go to church are very peaceful.

Maybe she meditates. Maybe she gets laid every night. Who knows? You should ask her, then come back and tell us her secret.

+10000

I'm guessing she gets laid every night. Unlike the PP who is "against drugs", but desperately needs them, because WHAT would her older, dictator husband say??!!

I hope I don't live next door to that PP!

Lol.

I am Catholic and from the midwest.

A while back I was at a shop in NYC which required a great deal of interaction with the clerk.

I was my usual courteous self, with what I felt was a normal and not over the top sprinkling of please and thank yous.

As we began to finish up, the clerk stopped, looked at me and said in an incredulous voice "I have to ask you, WHERE are you FROM? You're so...nice ?!"

I had to laugh because I thought I was just behaving like anyone else would treat a salesperson. When I said the midwest it was if a lightbulb went off in his mind, lol.
