Same thing happening with Truth Social IPO….its a way to launder foreign government/sovereign wealth investments.

Since when is Trump a church?

The churches *buy* the bibles from him. It's money laundering, essentially.

He's been billing himself as a messiah all along, and the evangelicals have fallen for it. They are his most solid base of support and embrace every cruel thing he says and does.

My husband has always joked that Trump was a liberal plant put forth to destroy the Republican Party. Maybe he's right, and it was to undermine religion, as well!

When all's said and done, I wouldn't be surprised if the backlash doesn't leave the U.S. as secular as France.

Trump prays and talks to himself. In his mind, that makes him Christian.

It's pretty astounding that what passes for "Christian Family Values" is a guy selling Bibles in order to raise money to cover his legal expenses for the court case involving his illegal use of campaign funds used as hush money to pay off a skanky porn star who he had an affair with while his wife was home with their newborn baby.

I agree with all but the bold. We shouldn’t shame Stormy. Idk how she got where she did, but I don’t think we should judge her.

Anonymous wrote:The Trump Bible must be an abridged edition. Clearly it wouldn't contain the following verses:

Leviticus 19:34:
“The foreigner residing among you must be treated as your native-born. Love them as yourself, for you were foreigners in Egypt. I am the LORD your God.”

Matthew 25:35:
“For I was hungry and you gave me something to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink, I was a stranger and you invited me in.”

Hebrews 13:2:
“Do not forget to show hospitality to strangers, for by so doing some people have shown hospitality to angels without knowing it.”

Deuteronomy 24:14:
“Do not take advantage of a hired worker who is poor and needy, whether that worker is a fellow Israelite or a foreigner residing in one of your towns.”

Exodus 12:49:
“The same law applies both to the native-born and to the foreigner residing among you.”

Deuteronomy 10:18:
“He defends the cause of the fatherless and the widow and loves the foreigner residing among you, giving them food and clothing.”

Exodus 22:21:
“Do not mistreat or oppress a foreigner, for you were foreigners in Egypt.”

Ezekiel 22:7:
“In you, they have treated father and mother with contempt; in you, they have oppressed the foreigner and mistreated the fatherless and the widow.”

Matthew 5:38-39:
“You have heard that it was said, ‘Eye for eye, and tooth for tooth.’ But I tell you, do not resist an evil person. If anyone slaps you on the right cheek, turn to them the other cheek also.”

Luke 6:27-29:
“But to you who are listening I say: Love your enemies, do good to those who hate you, bless those who curse you, pray for those who mistreat you. If someone slaps you on one cheek, turn to them the other also. If someone takes your coat, do not withhold your shirt from them.”

Romans 12:17-21:
“Do not repay anyone evil for evil. Be careful to do what is right in the eyes of everyone. If it is possible, as far as it depends on you, live at peace with everyone. Do not take revenge, my dear friends, but leave room for God’s wrath, for it is written: ‘It is mine to avenge; I will repay,’ says the Lord. On the contrary: ‘If your enemy is hungry, feed him; if he is thirsty, give him something to drink. In doing this, you will heap burning coals on his head.’ Do not be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good.”

1 Peter 3:9:
“Do not repay evil with evil or insult with insult. On the contrary, repay evil with blessing, because to this you were called so that you may inherit a blessing.”

I could go on and on and on with verses that are completely contrary to the core of what Trump is and what he believes.

Honestly, that abridged version, if it were an honest reflection of his "faith" would probably be an empty book.

This reminds me of my favorite, EVER, clip from The West Wing. I can't see this one enough.

+1 Leave Stormy alone.

Where for art thou, MAGAs???? Will Trump wash the feet of the poor today? Fast tomorrow? Show glory to God for the Risen Lord on Easter Sunday?

The US Constitution makes NO MENTION of the Bible, God, or Christianity. The only references to religion are in the 1A, which creates a wall between church & state.

I'm shocked MAGAs aren't able to see a golden idol when it's put right in front of them, and instead worship it.

At CPAC, they literally have it right in front of them.

French person here. Make no mistake, France is a deeply Catholic country, not in terms of regular church attendance, but in terms of culture. The secularism in public institutions targets all religions, but not equally: since Islam has the most visible signs of faith in its dress for women, Muslim women and girls are often targeted in public schools. They have to take off their headscarves. Discreet crucifixes or stars of Bethlehem are often overlooked. I for one am not happy with this situation. It's fodder for all the extremist imams currently preaching against the government.

Because they aren’t real Christians! They cherry-pick items to follow out of the Bible. A real Christian would never support Trump.
