CO staff as bathroom monitors at each HS. Oh wait we don't have a superintendent to delegate to CO staff to monitor school bathrooms. |
They could call it the CO-CEO program even. |
Will they start caring when line to health room bathroom extends out of health room around corner down the hall and possibly outside? Will the MD Health Dept intervene then since the "adults" at CO can't seem to? |
I have an idea. Contact everyone running for school board and ask how they plan to fix this problem |
Why don't you? Don't forget to report back here. |
Bathroom issues dominate conversations between parents, pta and the school. When the focus should be on the curriculum, and providing quality education. Do something to make bathrooms more accessible and available. |
People at our school are more interested in education than potty training issues. |
Thats what people at ALL schools are interested in. But the discussion turns to bathroom issues because students are hanging out in the bathroom instead of class, or when the students in class need to use the bathroom during the school day, they can't because bathrooms are closed or stalls occupied. |
I have a kid at RM and I would actually take the 1 in 360,000 chance that they will be knifed (180 school days times 2000 kids) over the 9 in 10 chance that they can’t use the bathroom. But of course in an ideal world, they could use bathrooms and no one would get knifed! If we can’t get there, I feel like kids should at least be able to pee when they need to. |
You mean students are using the student lounge? |
Good for them but where should the students who actually have to use a toilet go? Your house? |
There are plenty of unlocked bathrooms. It's not a real problem just one more thing the RWNJs enjoy complaining about. |
Only a CO nincompoop would say this crap. |
It's sad that so many parents are focused on non-issues like bathrooms and vaping rather than educational outcomes. |
Is you kid still in diapers? How else could you think a locked bathroom is a non-issue? |
