Could it be because it's an imaginary problem?

https://thermtide.com/22277/news/locked-bathrooms-cause-frustration-among-students-and-staff/

https://thermtide.com/22666/popular/students-react-to-new-bathroom-policy/

I guess those kids live in imaginary land.

It says students are irritated that many bathrooms are locked. I'm not sure this is a problem.

? students can't use bathrooms on second and third floors. RM has a stupid spreadsheet that they publish daily/hourly that shows which bathrooms are open.

They are irritated by it. That's a problem.

You try having to check your phone on a spreadsheet (where wifi sucks) to find an open bathroom, and do that within 5 minutes and get to your meeting on time in a huge building.

And hope that others are not trying to use the limited bathrooms then too!!!!

This situation being described is beyond humane. Disgusting. State reps should be contacted! Will they take any action?

Well, there was a knife incident in an RM bathroom today. So maybe there are some valid safety concerns for students.

Then maybe they shouldn't abuse the privilege and they wouldn't be locked.

File a lawsuit against - on so many points related to school bathrooms. A poster has listed few items early in thread.

What about the fact that the majority of students do NOT abuse the bathroom privilege. Why should they be locked out?

And since when is going to the bathroom at school a ‘privilege’.

You are really stretching with your ‘arguments’ here.

HS student ended up using bathroom in health room. During class. After first 10 min and before last 10 min of class, walked around no open bathrooms by class so went to health room. It's real. Don't listen to deniers.

They DO NOT CARE. I feel that has been made abundantly clear. They have other concerns that don't have anything to do with our kids.
