RFK Jr. Running as independent

That's what I thought would happen. You'd have to be nuts to vote for RFK Jr and you'd also have to be nuts to even come close to voting for Trump. So the slightly less nuts Trump voters see RFK Jr as a viable alternative.

You can smell Trump sweating about RFK Jr.

From the politico article: Rather, poll director Patrick Murray said in a prepared statement, Kennedy “appears to be more of a placeholder for expressing some generalized dissatisfaction with the likely trajectory of the 2024 nomination process.” But the survey was also the latest of several showing what Democrats and, now, the former president, are coming to fear — that Kennedy could siphon votes from both major-party candidates in November.

Between the government overreach of the pandemic era and the salivating for war funding for Ukraine and Israel, seems like more and more people are willing to register a protest vote.

Weird take since everything I’ve seen in the last week or so has been about how RFK jr appears to be eating Trump’s vote.

I mean, it's the poll directors take as reported by politico. Taking voters from both parties doesn't have to be even steven every week.

Yeah, that would explain this one. It’s not like the polls have been particularly accurate for the last few years especially and although we’ve all talked to death how the phone call population isn’t remotely representative (and I say this as a dinosaur millennial with a landline who does, in fact, answer polls occasionally), who gets contacted for online polls? Who answers?

And now it seems like the Republicans keep getting frightened of the monster they created.

-The % of Democrats who say they'd consider him drops.

I surmised as much but hoped that the exact percentage was in there.

He is a complete joke as a presidential candidate; just like Trump and Biden.

I think RFK Jr is the scum of the earth and his views have killed innocent people who died of completely preventable diseases like the measles because of his antivax views (after he made a visit to Samoa with anti vaccine advocates, vaccination rates dropped, and there was a measles epidemic that killed hundreds of people.

But it would be hilarious if after all these crooked republican donors pumped up RFK Jr that he ended up taking more voters from Trump.

I'm having trouble embedding the video, but this was just re-tweeted by Elon Musk. I think it's very effective. RFK Jr may pull off a 3rd party run.
