He wants to scale back the military-industrial complex and reduce our involvement in foreign conflicts.

He has a tremendous record of environmentalism.

He is anti-mandate. Most people are not "anti-vaxxers", they are concerned about the government coercion involved with the covid vax.

In a global pandemic with a new virus that kills people, the way to ensure public safety is to get people to test and vaccinate. States where people did this had less negative health impact and deaths that states and countries that didn't.

We already have "coercion" of vaccinations in the form of all of the shots babies and kids get for the 18 years before they are adults. There is a reason that until very recently, Polio was a thing of the past. Now, it isn't because of lunatics like RFK, Jr.

Compare and contrast the outcome of states or countries with different policies and tell me the juice was worth the squeeze. Public trust in health organizations has been destroyed for marginal at best differences. Medical treatment should never be coerced as it drives further distrust.

To the extent that public trust was destroyed during the pandemic, it was people like RFK Jr who destroyed it. To a person all the public health officials who were charged with making decisions did so to the best of their ability with the information that they had. And then we had people like RFK and Trump who said vaccines are bad, eat horse dewormers and treat it like it’s a cold.

Public trust was destroyed because Trump destroyed it with his nonsense. Cow paste, anyone?

+1 I love that his moronic followers truly thought that a heavy duty dewormer - and yes it’s used for humans who have specific parasitic infections of the digestive tract - would really magically cure their inability to breathe.

But sure, maga nuts, it was the dedicated public servants who urged people to mask and to be responsible were the ones who “destroyed public trust.”

RFK is perfect for the GOP. Opinionated and stupid, cruel and poorly thought out. Maga!

Any company that didn't take heed when global supply chains were completely disrupted by covid deserves to fail.

The future will be more local and smaller scale. RFK is one of the few people that get this. For this reason alone he should be President.

Of course a Republican would say this. I’m so glad for you to vote for him.

Diluting the Kook Vote. Great strategy.

He’s literally Connor Roy from Succession.

You already said that exact same line on the now closed RFK thread.

Anything that helps keep trump out of office is a win, so go RFK, Jr!

You will be getting more GOP support than Dem support.

I think you’re right, but I do worry about older Democrats who loved his father and will vote for him purely on name recognition. There probably aren’t too many of these voters though and hopefully they are balanced out by conspiracy theorist, weightlifter bros who would otherwise vote for Trump.
