Really? I hate that I'm about to body shame but in her bikini scenes she looks like a 12 year old child. I know, I'm going to Hell.

If this is what you think a 12 year old looks like, I suggest that you reset your meter:

Is that a photo from this series? Because I do not remember her boobs being that big, but mostly I remember it as her lower body that struck me as looking very tiny. I don't really know her from other stuff.

Enjoying it too, here!

Whatever happened to the pregnant employee? Did she just go on maternity leave? Her part seemed so random, maybe she'll come back and play an important piece in the plot?

It's a photo of her on the snorkeling on a day off from filming the series. So, same time frame but not an image from tv.

Any theories on who is dead and who is responsible?

I think the hotel manager is going to lose it and kill someone. The honeymooning wife is going to leave her husband and that's why he is so mad at the airport in episode 1.

Yeah, I don’t think the honeymooning wife is dead although that’s what they wanted to make it seem like in the opening scene. No ideas beyond that though. Plot simply hasn’t advanced enough for us to know.

I am interested in this too! I think surely she’ll come back at some point, even if she was there to teach us about Armand/push him to the brink.

I’m not sure the opening scene implies that she’s dead. I’m not sure he’d be alone in that scenario. Plus, even he would be a little sad.

It 100% is supposed to leave the impression she's dead.

What? No it’s not. It’s clearly ambiguous, at most. The mystery is the whole point of the show.

And why would it make her BFF upset. Unless the one friend has a crush on the other?? Also, now that I think about it aren’t these girls probably 16? And she’s hooking up with an adult employee. I guess he could be a teen and this is a summer job but he didn’t look like it.

I had also wondered why the family wasn’t in an bigger suite. doesn’t make sense. And if it is just a convenient plot line to cram them all together, that seems like sloppy writing.

I do love this series though!

Because there is a huge class divide between the girls. The friend isn’t as wealthy/privileged. The wealthy teen kind of views her friend as her pet that she brought on vacation. The friend goes along, but there are hints that she resents her. The wealthy teen is controlling. The friend is also hooking up with someone who isn’t at al wealthy (a waiter or something), which probably factors into her fear of being judged. But it’s also an escape for her from the over-the-top tone deafness of the wealthy family.

I grew up blue collar with some friends who were children of white collar. They weren’t over the top wealthy at all, but I was that friend. And I remember how I felt at times, not to mention their complete lack of awareness of how other people lived. But they tend to treat people as pets. That part of the show is brilliant. I actually think the newlywed story line is too blatant. It would be better if it were more subtle.

I think also the daughter is in love with her friend, and the friend is trying to hold onto the benefits that brings while also going and having fun.

I love this show so much. Jennifer Coolidge is a national treasure. Armand - I am enjoying the heck out of watching him. I think Rachel is up to something devious and I can't wait to see her square off with Molly Shannon. Steve Zahn being the weepy creepy guy at the bar! It's all so perfect.

Molly Shannon is in this?

Yes, most likely he’s alone in that first scene because the wife left him.

It was her first day so I doubt she got maternity leave.
