Keeping wild animals out of my yard

Buy several bars of Irish spring bar soap. Impale them on short sticks and spread them around the yard. These will keep deer. At bay. The vinegar will bother most animals but doesn't last as long and the smell might bother you too.

What is it about Irish spring?

Irish Spring soap attracts leprechans to your yard. Wild animals are afraid of tiny green men so they stay away. Problem solved, and on the plus side you might end up with a pot of gold buried under a tree somewhere.

Lizards, snakes -non-poisionous ones , deer, and birds are all harmless. You should actively discourage raccoons, foxes, and coyotes from being in your yard. If they get too close they will bite. The bite may not be bad itself but you'll need rabies shots unless you can catch the animal and be sure it was that one. Bird feeders, fallen fruit from fruit trees, small pets and pet food left out can attract them. When you see one, you should chase it away and make a lot of noise. If you just ignore it, it loses its fear of humans.

I will continue my search for solutions.
youhave an interesting view of aggression.

You can't keep raccoons out. The best you can do is to make it impossible to get into your trash at night.

You should be thrilled to live in such a healthy ecosystem.

You are what is wrong with the world. Selfish humans that are completely BRAINLESS when it comes to nature. I wish people like you would be eaten by some hungry creature because you are only worthy of being an animals meal. You are complaining about BIRDS SINGING? You are funking ridiculous. Completely unworthy of existence on this planet. I hope the rising oceans wash you away soon.

NP here. Are you people REALLY this stupid? Is this a joke?

OP, you could cut down every living thing - tree, plant, whatever - the only thing that would get you is less oxygen. It sounds alike your brain needs every single bit. WOW.

quit moving into other people's and animal's neighborhoods and expecting them to move away so as not to inconvenience you in THEIR home.

horrified by the amount of wild animals?? Move then - they were there before you and your family.

Sweetie, is this some kind of ironic joke? Of course their are wild things in your backyard! What did you think you were going to have back there? Nothing? And they were there before you. If you want to be freaked out by stuff, go look at magnified images of the dust mites that live in your sheets and make you sneeze. You're sleeping with more critters that just a couple loud birds in your back yard. As for where the wild things are, suck it up and deal with it or move. Better yet next time the clue phone rings, pick it up.

WOW. Where are you people from that you think it would ever be acceptable to kill trees? The f*cking desert? Are you really THAT stupid?

By doing things to make wild animals feel threatened. Unless you live in an area with large predators, fear is the only reason an animal will bite you.

The way to discourage raccoons is to lock up your trash. That's what they are coming for.

OP it is clear you dont know much about wildlife.

It is sad that you dont see any of this as any kind of opportunity for your children to learn about nature and how we have ruined it for the animals, not the other way around.

A fence will discourage deer. Get one. Or move.

LOUD BIRDS? I'm sorry but that makes you sound actually insane. What is a loud bird? You mean just birds being birds? Birds near your person? i dont understand the loud birds part at all.
