In other words, a purge.

That’s 60 new media sources and whistleblowers. RNC staffers have seen some shit.

Fortunately, we know that Trump always hires only the best and brightest, so these changes are certainly going to lead to significant improvements in the RNC's operations.

Hopefully, all Trump relatives will be hired to replace them.

How shortsighted. If the RNC's only goal is electing Trump then the downballot Republicans are being left out to hang and dry.

Lo and behold now the RNC has to share its paltry cash with Trump.

NBC News/MSNBC just hired Ronna as a political commentator. https://www.nytimes.com/2024/03/22/business/media/ronna-mcdaniel-nbc-msnbc.html

And you people doubt that the media is inherently pro-conservative.

Trump bootlicker Ronna McDaniel is on the way out at the RNC, and Dear Leader is endorsing North Carolina GOP Party Chair Michael Whatley (another dependable bootlicker, election denier, and yes man) to serve as RNC chair and--wait for it--his DIL Lara Trump as co-chair. Oh, and he is also asking his senior campaign adviser Chis LaCivita to serve as the RNC’s chief operating officer to supervise the day-to-day operations of the committee. It makes sense to stack the RNC with his people, since the RNC is using door funds to pay for Trump's legal expenses. GOP = Trump.

The party’s nominee control the party. Trump has had this control since 2016. He controls who is in every position.

That is not the way a party is supposed to work.

Yes it is. Ask Clinton.

Was Clinton still appointing DNC heads after she lost?

Was a Clinton relative endorsed as a co-chair for the DNC?

Did Chelsea work in the WH and walk away $2billion-plus richer?

Announced today: Ronna going to work for MSNBC. She should have gone years ago.

Yeah, someone posted that two posts above yours. Do you ever scan a thread? Also, why did you quote the person you quoted?

The best part of this is that they may win the battle and lose the war. By investing all of the money into Trump, and neglecting down ballot races, they may find that they elect Trump, but end up with a fully Democratic Congress. There are candidates in both chambers running for election that are in close races and without national party support, some borderline candidates may lose.

For example, Lake in Arizona is polling behind Gallego in about 3/4 of the polls, but ahead in about 1/4. And the margins are not huge. This is likely to be bad news for Lake getting no support or little support from the RNC. Gallego is already doing well in fund-raising and with support from the DNC he'll be in a lot stronger position to flood the airwaves and get his message across.

But maybe this is why Trump pushed to have extremely wealthy candidates like David McCormick in Pennsylvania and Bernie Moreno in Ohio. These candidates can self-fund and still have a shot, but both are currently slightly behind in polling in their races.

But this move makes vulnerable Democratic seats more stable for the Democrats. In Michigan, with Stabenow retiring, this helps her likely replacement candidate, Elissa Slotkin since there is no clear Republican challenger yet. Unless they come up with another wealthy self-funding candidate, that candidate is going to be far behind at the start.

This is exactly what happened to Obama after winning in 2008, he controlled the operation and moved it to Chicago and while he was re-elected, everything downballot imploded. You’d think some of these people would watch and learn.
