Trump bootlicker Ronna McDaniel is on the way out at the RNC, and Dear Leader is endorsing North Carolina GOP Party Chair Michael Whatley (another dependable bootlicker, election denier, and yes man) to serve as RNC chair and--wait for it--his DIL Lara Trump as co-chair. Oh, and he is also asking his senior campaign adviser Chis LaCivita to serve as the RNC’s chief operating officer to supervise the day-to-day operations of the committee. It makes sense to stack the RNC with his people, since the RNC is using door funds to pay for Trump's legal expenses. GOP = Trump.

The party’s nominee control the party. Trump has had this control since 2016. He controls who is in every position.

That is not the way a party is supposed to work.

In what way has the Republican Party grown under Trump?

They underperformed in 2018, 2020, 2022, and so far in 2024. Trump is an albatross.

Good question.

In 2015 a few months before the escalator ride, the GOP had a 234-seat House majority, a 54-seat Senate majority, 68 of 99 state legislative chambers, and 33 governors, 25 of whom presided over GOP-led trifectas.

Democrats started 2016 with 5 trifectas and they now have 17.

Was Clinton still appointing DNC heads after she lost?

Was a Clinton relative endorsed as a co-chair for the DNC?

The GOP is in the “we will get destroyed, and we will deserve it” part of Graham’s prophecy. Let’s not interrupt them.

And Ronna’s gone. She literally changed her name and that still wasn’t sufficient loyalty for Trump. She’s a gobsmackingly stupid woman though if you want to read her statement about why she’s surrendering the political group she’s directed to Trump.

I can't wait for the GOP to rubber stamp all those donations to go to the 4th tier Trump lawyers instead of critical senate and house races.
