Again, not fact. These were, according to PP, things brought up according to transcripts of electronic exchanges between JR and CB. But very few people believe (not fact admittedly) that someone else was behind "CB" persona.

correction: most people believe that someone else was behind the CB persona.

She often would examine the victims of rape or other sex crimes and be required to testify in court about it.

For her to want to live out a fantasy of a violent rape at knife point similar to the traumas she often encountered seems very bizarre and out of character

No need to kink shame her. Her fetish was not a crime.

C*ck scenes are much more likely to be instigated by the husband. In this case, not for sex but as a set up to pin the murder on another man.

I don't think we know enough about Christine's involvement to know if this was new and part of the lure and ruse or something they had done before. So, can't assume it was about her. And JR had never done knife play. BB may have been the hidden hand behind it all, setting both up for death.

Evidence entered at AP's hearing indicated Joe introduced the idea of knife play, not CB or BB pretending to be CB. The AP's defense also introduced evidence that strengthened the idea that the communications were between Joe and CB, for example Joe spoke to CB on the phone, CB texted Joe pictures.

I believe only the indication BB was involved in setting it up are:
-Police comments at the start of the investigation saying family thought account didn't "sound" like CB
-Anonymous message board posts of people claiming to be Joe's friends
-Someone on this thread hypothesizing a c*ck situation, influenced by a popular thread on the relationship forum
None of the above implicating BB has been entered as evidence in court unlike the evidence entered by AP's attorney

Someone correct me if I'm wrong and missed something indicating BB and Joe communicated.

A friend of Joe has stated repeatedly on SM that he met the Banfields, so, there is that. At the hearing it was stated that Joe had never done knife play but he agreed to bring one, who suggested it was not clarified and obv not all communications have been entered as evidence since there has been no trial. Many entered at the hearing were under seal.

VA is alleging that the "scene" was a lure and a ruse, so obviously having not only a man to pin it on but one who brings a weapon would be optimal from BB's perspective.

We don't know if the BFs had ever done c*ck scenes or if it was new as part of the ruse. None of this is needed for a successful prosecution of AP, those charges have no motive element. This is all more of a drip drip head game. Remember, AP's lawyer is paid by BB too.

BB has not yet been arrested nor charged so of course there has not been evidence entered in legal proceedings against him. Doesn't mean there isn't plenty. LE has been clear they expect to make an additional arrest, can't arrest a dead guy.

It's possible someone (BB or AP pretending to be CB, or BB as himself) suggested it or lead JR to bring it up via messages that were done on another phone. We just don't have all the info. I'd tread lightly on saying that we know FOR SURE that JR brought up the concept of a knife in the mix.

Especially as a message in court stated Joe had NEVER DONE knife play for all his F&tlife assignations. Sure was convenient for BB for him to consent this time and BRING one, huh? What a coincidence that BB needed another man to be the literal fall guy and for him to have a weapon other than BB's service revolver or the 2nd gun he had brought recently and then all of a sudden, for the 1st time in his life, JR agreed to knife play with someone with a blood clotting disorder. We don't know if CB consented or if JR knew of her health issue. I can see why VA may think it smacks of a set up. YMMV.

This is generally how most topics on this thread go.
1. Cherry pick part of the evidence (Joe never did knife play before and CB had a blood clotting disorder (not sure if this is verified)) to implicated BB
2. Contradict a second piece from the same source (Joe was the first to bring up knife play, CB wrote back interested and expanded on the fantasy) by assuming BB is a criminal genius who somehow convinced Joe to suggest the knife and CB agree to knife play Inception style

One alternative that isn't at all convenient for BB is that CB and Joe were meeting without BB knowing, he walked in on their crazy scene, things got crazy.

Please cite verbatim this so-called
evidence.

Check out page 144 of this thread. The post is highly detailed. It is either an amazing troll job or it is true reflection of what happened at the hearing and really challenges the idea BB set up the meeting between Joe and CB.

The post you are referring to does not say JR introduced the idea of knife play. It doesn’t claim that either one introduced the idea. It said:

- They discussed blood play (cutting)
- CB asked JR, "Do you still want to tear off my clothes? I have a set of old pajamas you can tear"
- A set of ripped pajamas was recovered from the scene
- Pics of a knife, ropes, chains, rubber restraints were sent by JR to CB
- CB took selfie in a bathing suit and sent to husband. A few hours later sent the same selfie to JR with caption: "I sent this to my husband and he didn't even notice I lost 20 pounds"
- Judge questioned about the 45 min phone call over telegram that occurred between CB and JR
- After the phone call, JR texted: "It was great hearing your sexy voice"
- JR wrote that he had only done blood play once before, with razor blades
- CB had several superficial cuts that barely broke the skin

On page 144 it says:
"Other facts that came out (from chat transcripts and other things referred to by both sides)

- CB and JR communicated using Fetlife and Telegram.
- JR brought up the idea of bringing a knife, CB asked about the details.
- They discussed blood play (cutting)

again, it's obvious some formed their opinion a year ago and will ignore or rationalize anything counter.

There has not been an arrest or trial with ALL of the evidence re: BB. Much was entered under seal in hearings re: AP. Talk about making your mind up and cherry picking facts. When VA talks about an additional arrest I don't think they mean to engage in necromancy.

Why are you literally lying about previous posts? It's the line RIGHT ABOVE where you started the cut-n-paste from. There's no way you accidentally missed that.

- JR was in the process of cutting CB with BB walked in
- CB wrote "trip to the zoo" on calendar
- CB had multiple lacerations to her neck and carotid artery. Three lacerations to the right side of her neck were the most likely the cause of death
- In the second 911 call, (mentioned but not played) BB is trying to save CB's life by applying pressure

Best not to engage with the BB defenders smearing the victims. They try to get posts deleted and the thread locked or deleted as the first one was.

Hearing to set trial related dates today.

The people who do believe that, having seen all evidence, including that under seal, include prosecutors from the Commonwealth of VA. We have not seen "transcripts" just notes from people claiming to be in the courtroom.

I personally think it most likely that CB was involved in some of the comms, a mix would create the maximum confusion and best shield the scheme. However she and JR did not know they were being lured under a ruse to their deaths.

Trial date set today.

Perhaps it approaching will cause the AP to do a bit more thinking. They have no future, she will be in a cage until deported. The case has gotten covered in Brazil. She has not only killed but destroyed her own life. May be time to cut her losses?

If BB had a plan to stab his wife and pin it on JR, I’m not sure AP was in on it. Her actions that day just seem so… stupid. Either way, I think it’s good she is being tried because it is not at all clear that her shooting of JR was reasonable.
Anonymous
I think it's likely she will be convicted. As you say, her actions were not reasonable and I think a jury will agree.
