Unusual Food Habits

This whole thread totally channels Elvis-fried peanut butter banana sandwiches, anyone? How about with ham?

I don't eat them fried but I love PB and banana. My mother mashes the banana up and mixes with mayo. Sounds gross but it so yummy!!

Cheese, peas, pickles and bananas-little mayonnaise mixed up right, just the thing to cure your appetite.

I'm with the "no-nuts in baked goods" poster. I love nuts. I love baked goods. But never the two shall meet in my book. If I take a bite of a cookie or brownie and it had nuts, I want to spit it out.

I feel the same way about desserts with fruit - like those fancy cakes. Yuck. Love fruit. Love cake. They just don't go togethor in my book. I find them to be revolting

I hate Cosco cake. There I said it. I know the world love Costco cake. Or so they say. I'm half convinced it's just one big practical joke, because I can't for the life of me figure out why anyone would take a bite of that cake and think anything other than "this is disugsting".

And since my strange things seem to revolve around sweet things, I confess, I love, love, love, those cheap grocery store cakes with freakishly sweet icing. I like nicer cakes too (sans nuts and fruit), but something about that super cheap sweet icing just makes my day.

Mmmmmm.

Agree. Fries dipped in Hollandaise sauce are also really good.

Agree - ANYTHING dipped in Hollandaise sauce is really good.

I dont eat almost all fruit - only perfectly yellow bananas, avocados and green apple slices without the peel. Nothing else.

I love tomatoes but cant bite into a whole one - only if they are cut in slices or chunks.

I only eat soup/cereal/ice cream with a plastic spoon - no metal.

I wont let anyone serve me, I have to pick all my own food. I wish I could choose my own in restaurants too.

Except for the first part (I LOVE nuts in baked good), I am with you on all the rest. Costco cake is vile. DH hates it even more than me. Fruit cake makes me want to hurl.
