Isn't this an ingenious troll for cash?! "The more you hate us? The more money you should send us!"

What a business model - sooner or later everybody will hate you. And there's your customer pool.

Something tells me that something's going to go wrong with this "foolproof plan" (TM).

yo straight up. this dude has their shit down. kids will be kids. why dont you try to take their childhood away from them. yeah that always solves everything. there will always be this new ' evil ' that parents despise. be it radio, tv, video games or the internet. something is always going to ruin us. no. what will ruin us is parents being overprotective. yes you love your kids and want the best for them and you want to protect them. but you dont know what is the best for them. just back the hell off and let kids be kids. you cant keep them sheltered forever.

The thing is parents, the media likes to be sensationalist about everything. And they may act like the big bad internet is out to get your child, but really you and your kid need to realize that this isn't gonna change. A school can't do anything about this issue since it doesn't happen at school and there's no sure way to prove who uses the site without getting IP adresses from the site's owners.

PS: if your child gets into serious trouble on the internet, they were only asking for it. And banning sites only makes them all the more alluring.

I'm sorry, I don't support this website, but I do support freedom of speech. What you should be focusing on is making sure that your child has a high self-esteem instead of sitting here on your computer and complaining. People's dirt isn't breaking any laws and should not be taken down. If you want to censor anyone then censor your own children. By the way I'm a sixteen year old high school student. People have insulted me but because I have great parents I just shrug it off.

You really need to reread that. The "real world" of adults isn't as immature as a bunch of children posting slander about each other on a website because they have their own self-esteem issues that they can't deal with.

For all the high school kids who are suddenly blessing us with their presence, allow me to make the following points:

1) Practically nobody here has high school aged kids. Therefore, the vast majority of users don't give a crap about peoplesdirt.com and wouldn't even know about it if it wasn't for this thread.

2) other than maybe one or two people here, nobody tried to get the site taken down.

3) you are welcome to participate here, but please be polite. You may also want to consider using standard English or nobody will be able to understand you.

4) I can see great value in interaction between young adults and our regular users. It could be really interesting. Just understand that we are not your enemy and don't treat us like we are.

Wow, how quickly you make assumptions. Everybody has their own issues, it's just that most adults are mature enough to handle it without being as stupid as most high schoolers are (by the way, I'm a high schooler, not a parent). Kids have limited freedom in certain places. If you were really in high school, I'd expect you to have taken some sort of government course. When you enter school grounds, you give up some of your rights. Even some of what you do outside of school can affect whatever goes on in school [such as threats and slander] and therefore is a danger to the schooling environment. Excessive gossip isn't a mistake, it's just stupid.
