Oh, just stop it and let OP get back to her thread subject.

OP here. I wish the first person complaining about the Horus/Mithras poster had never brought it up. That person, who shows up on other threads complaining about atheists discussing Horus and Mithras, is bothersome. It seems weird to bring up a subject you don't like over and over again -- and then complain when others join the discussion.

The point is, people are mockng the Horus-Mithras poster. PP even wrote "good times!" because many of us find that particular troll so ludicrous. Sorry you find it bothersome or weird to see an atheist mocked, but you really shouldn't encourage her!

I've just got to chime in here so that I can also mention Horus and Mithras.

Meh. Since this thread has been wrecked anyway, I'll jump in to add that the Horus Mithras poster is a known atheist whackadoodle/troll. Therefore you might as well use "Horus Mithras poster" as any other appellation. I see another PP has just gone to the trouble of debunking that nonsense again - for the 4th or 5th time - because the Horus Mithras poster is incapable of learning, doesn't want to learn, or, most likely, is a troll. Either way, it's fair to say that she's doing no favors for atheism's public image!

We could use HM Poster for short.

But only DCUM insiders would know what it means -- maybe that's a good thing

I see what you're saying, it's sort of like Larla, although there's a risk that the uninitiated would confuse her with a clothing chain.

I think it is becoming more excepted to be secular and that is a good thing. There is no reasons agnostics, atheists, humanists, diests, and religious people cannot get along. Just continue to live your life how you want to and leave other people alone.
