when I move to a new apartment does the toilet seat have to be changed and the plastic has to be left on ? |
Yes, I do change the toilet seats! I like a fresh start when it comes to certain things!
|
Never in a million years would it have occurred to me to change the toilet seats. |
You and me both! This is ridiculous. People looks for ways to be wasteful. |
We just bought a new seat. Because we built a new bathroom, not because we are OCD like the crazies here who said that they put in new toilets every time they move. It was not $10-20. It cost closer to $60 and there were no options that fit our toilet for less than $50. |
Absolutely not! |
I've had the carpets professionally cleaned - and upgraded to the "cleanest" option they offer when I bought a pre-owned house. |
This never even crossed my mind. Why on earth? What do you think you are going to get? And to throw out not just the seat, but the whole toilet? What? |
We changed two of the three toilet seats in our new house when we moved in because they were very old and stained. But that's the only reason why. The third was fine, we just cleaned it really well. |
I am an admitted germ phobe and I never even thought about doing this. |
No. I have moved about 30 times in my life and never once did this cross my mind. It seems insane. |
Toilet seats, yes, but not immediately. Toilets, yes but just one but we did a major remodel. New toilets are the worst and are like toys. Our plumber suggested to go black market and smuggle a power flusher in thru Canada! We didn't. |
It's never, ever occurred to me. And I moved yearly (from one rental to another) for a decade. |
Yes. Bought new seats for every house we've lived in before we moved in including our brand new home. I love the toilet seats that soft close. A woman must have thought of that one.
LOL. |
What a funny post. YES! My mother was adamant about. Every new apartment - remember to get a new toilet seat! I haven't thought about that for years. |
