What Does A Yeast Infection Feel Like (explicit)

LOL. What is going on in here? Calm down fire crotch. People have been more than helpful to you. If you haven't figured something out by now with your burning self then that's too bad, I don't know how you've managed because this could have been solved by now. But keep on burning away. How much are you going to ask for without showing the slightest bit of appreciation? Would you like a volunteer to come over and rub your vag down with cream too? Would that help?

Jesus Christ OP! You are starting to sound pretty darn ignorant.

Use Monistat 7. that is a 7 day treatment. That is the brand name and the type. You need to put it inside your vag because there is likely yeast in there too and you have to treat both inside and out or it'll just come back. Put some on the outside too and as you sleep it'll continue to come out and treat the outside.

If you aren't going to listen to this then enjoy the burn for the weekend and stay out of the neighborhood pool!

I took care of it already and appreciate the help, I truly do, swear. My burning crotch put me into a bad mood, and I was very annoyed with the poster directing me to vinegar, garlic, oils, and such when I asked for a brand name suggestion.

I apologize for my outburst. Although I'm already treating my fire crotch, I am in my own personal hell here and it's very much affecting my mood and ability not to snap at people. I'm sorry, really am.

Shoving garlic up my hoo haa was the last thing I wanted to try. I just want relief.

I treated already, it's still burning. I'm miserable and really bitchy. I forced my husband to take the kids out and leave me alone. This is like the worst PMS x's 1000. I'm sorry I sound crabby. I've never had a yeast infection so I had no idea what to buy that would be effective.

Thanks for tolerating me and offering your advice. Much appreciated. Off to sit in a bath, and hopefully not infect my body with yeast

It'll take about 2 or 3 days of treatment before it really starts feeling better.

OP, the cream might cause burning, even as it eliminates the infection. And if it still burns in a few days, keep that appointment with your doc. I feel your pain...discomfort down there is the WORST. When I'm itchy, ice helps a lot. I wonder if it would help the burning? If you want to give it a try you can buy those ice packs from cvs...the kind that get cold when you bend them down the middle (actual ice would cause more moisture which you don't want right now).
I've never had a yeast infection without discharge and burning, but it sounds like it's not uncommon, based on PP's responses. Just stay in, put a nightgown on and keep the underwear off, if possible. Let us know if the cream works! Good luck!

Meant "without discharge and itching".

No, the OP does not want any "homeopathic" remedies. She wants chemicals that are Dr. Mom approved.

It is crazy how many of you ladies put weird things up you lady parts instead of seeking proper medical treatment. You vagina is a delicate echo system, putting garlic and oils just aggravates the problem. And running out and treating it yourself is foolish without knowing for sure what you are dealing with.

OP I am hoping you have had your problem solved by now but if not- bacteria infections are extremely similar to yeast- even the DR. has to look at the culture on a slide before they can diagnose you (sadly it can be both at the same time!) medical advise is the safest and most effective way to go here. Hope you feel better!

Is it suppose to itch like near the vagina?

Itchiness in or around the vagina is generally a yeast infection, sometimes a bacterial infection, or just irritation. The symptoms can vary. Go see a doctor or just buy the OTC cream and see if it helps. Get the 7-day. The shorter actin creams don't work and burn like hell.

I had what I thought was a yeast infection and did the 3 day Monistat treatment but it didn't go away. So I finally went to the gyn and did a culture and it turned out to be herpes. So now I am a big believer in going to the doctor and not guessing.

I would go to the doc and get a culture - if you use yeast infection cream when you don't actually have a yeast infection, you can make it much worse. I speak from experience. Get a culture so you will get the proper treatment.
