I get it ready the night before so all I have to do is stumble to the coffee machine and hit 'brew.' I used to order the k cups online - I think amazon had the best prices with subscribe & save. But when I didn't want to commit to 2 boxes of something I'd never tried before, or wanted something amazon didn't have, I'd check other sites - I've ordered from bigcat PP mentioned, also shoffee.com.

What am I doing wrong? My coffee always turned out watery when I used the refillable cup. I tried different levels of coarseness too.

I read about this accidentally when I first got my Keurig... it has something to do with the way the My K-Cup filter fits into the holder, and the seal that is on the handle. The rubber gasket type thing on the underneath side of the brewer liftable handle needs to be moved down a little bit so it forms a better seal with the My K-Cup basket/filter. I'm not that good at explaining it, but if you read through the reviews on the My K-Cup Filter, a lot of people talk about it. It was either Amazon or Keurig.com that I read the reviews on.

I get the "San Francisco Bay Coffee Fog Chaser, 36-Count" for $17.49 on Amazon. Been buying these for months. They look a little weird but coffee is fresher due to the design. It's even less if you have them send it to you every month. The coffee is excellent. This is by far the cheapest I've found. Not to mention they are one of the most environmentally friendly coffee companies out there.

I bought four boxes, 25 k-cups each - of green mountain dark magic for $48, which I thought was pretty good. I'm bummed because my Paul Newman dark roast has gotten really expensive since the last time I ordered from amazon. This is probably obvious, but the bigger the quantity you buy, the cheaper it will usually be. Of course, that doesn't work very well if you want to try lots of different varieties. I just use my keurig for coffee, and I'm fine with having just one variety.

I love my coffee and usueally I but the 50 packs. You end up saving money if you the 50 k cup pack. I found a site the other day and they have a vast range. I compared this site with some others and can say they have cheap k cups

The My K cup filter is awful. I tried the one that came with my Keurig, and after reading reviews on amazon, I bought an Ekobrew cup and it works perfectly.

I wait until I have a coupon from Bed, Bath, and Beyond, then I purchase the K Kups there. Get on their coupon list, and you can get coupons mailed to you often.

Kohls has 18 packs @ $13.99. With a 30% off coupon that's $9.79. Free shipping if you buy 4 (over $50). Expires today.

Now that the patten has expired I noticed Wegman's (a large supermarket in the Northeast) selling their own brand K-Cups of Breakfast Blend for like .41 cents a Cup.

I fully expect the price of K-Cups to drop now, which is why Keurig put out the "Vue" machine (which IMO will fail).

At H-E-B grocery stores, not sure how nationwaide they are (we're in Texas) they have their own branded coffee K-Cups $3.59 for a box of 12. Thats .299 cents per cup. So we may finally be seeing prices drop as the patent has expired.

I'm sorry if this is a stupid ? but I'm relatively new to using the K cups. If I buy the San Francisco ones, do I need to use one of the separate filter cups or can I just put the pod in like a K cup with nothing else? Thanks!

Just put them in like a regular K cup.

I purchased them per a PP's suggestion and love them! Much stronger than any of the other K cups I have tried.
