Do you secretly judge parents by their strollers??

we used a graco snap-n-go, then maclaren. but i got that maclaren off ebay for $100! it was new with tags, but a previous year's model. that was cheap! and it held up really well.

Really? A little silent judging is one thing but to not be friends with someone? My circle of friends probably encompasses every stroller made. I don't have a Bugaboo but I do have an expensive stroller and it is amazing to me that someone would not want to be friends with someone because of a stroller.

And wear quilted jackets.

I have a city mini too and I am always impressed when I see others with one. Smart shopper.

Ha ha!

I have a Combi and a hand me down Baby Trend! That Baby Trend is like one of those 1980's "grocery getter" station wagons. It's even beige.....

What do you guys think?

Dear God.

I don't judge, but I do notice expensive strollers now the way I used to notice expensive handbags.

I have a Bugaboo that was a gift. From a family member who would ONLY give us a Bugaboo. We didn't ask for it, and hadn't even looked at strollers yet. So don't judge us please.

Of the three strollers I've had, I probably loved my Snap 'n Go the best for its big basket underneath!

HAHA not sure if you are serious or funny but regardless HA!

I had a "cheap" stroller which was I purchased with my grandfather when he was adamant we go to Babies R Us when I was 6 months pregnant and I almost had a panic attack with all the huge travel systems he wanted to buy me. Ugh. I didnt even have a car at the time and just wanted him to buy me a moby wrap so i could get on and off the bus easier.
Fast forward to our first trip with little DS and we trashed that cheap stroller so fast we could barely steer it when we returned.
Then I sprung for a close-out Bumbleride and it rules. Worth the money I spent. And whoever is judging me for my stroller is also judging me for my lack of a wedding ring and a host of other reasons.

I don't what's dumber - this post or me for having read through all the responses.

Another depressing DCUM thread. Why on earth would anyone give a sh*t what other random people spend their money on? It's a free country, and you have no clue what other family's priorities are or what went into the decision process.

Well, shit. I drive a volvo, wore my quilted jacket to work, and have a couple of maclarens.

I used to be fun, I swear.

Hm, not "judge" as in assume something about their humanity. But there are some strollers on the very, very high end (and very very low end) that indicate something about disposable income.

I might be somewhat more intimidated by someone pushing a $700+ stroller.
