New York would be a lot better off if its judges spent their efforts putting violent criminals behind bars rather than trying to muzzle prominent politicians they don’t like.
In this case, the point is that when Trump talks about people involved in his court case, his followers become violent. When Trump badmouths witnesses, attorneys on the other side, judges, etc, those people get death threats and stalked or get swatted. Trump encourages violence.
If he didn't encourage violence and threats, then he wouldn't be gagged. He has a history of trying to intimidate his legal opponents and the judicial system with violence from his MAGA followers. So, the gag order is justified in this case.
