It seems Pride and NL are both in playoff contention this weekend. I think Pride sneaks in cause they have an easier double header. |
Hopefully the NGLL splits up the B division next year. Teams like NL, Pride, HoCo had tough schedules. They should be in the top 8 |
I have never seen NGLL have three divisions.
The A division will expand but I am not sure b how much |
NL and Pride can still make the playoffs. They each win both their games on Sunday and they should be in. Hoco played 4 tough teams and lost all of them. To make the playoffs you have to beat some good teams. Even if you split the B division, you will still get teams complaining if one draw is tougher than the other. It's working fine. Leave it be. |
MDU handled BLC. What I don’t get, why does the 3 seed play the 5? The 4 seed actually gets the lower seeded team? Doesn’t make sense |
3 plays 6. 4 plays 5. 1 and 2 gets bye |
They corrected it. |
So #3 Hero’s plays #6 YJMA, winner plays #2 MDU East.
#4 BLC plays #5 Coppermine, winner plays #1 M&D |
YJMA can really make a statement knocking off HG.
BLC prob beats Coppermine |
I can see BLC over Cop. YJMA over HG?? No way. |
YJMA is like Coppermine. Never know which team you’re getting on a given day. Any team can win first round. Reg season = BLC>YJMA>Coppermine>HG However, none of those teams will advance to Sunday. |
I’d take that one step farther since HG beat BLC. BLC>YJMA>Coppermine>HG>BLC Circular firing squad. None of them will advance to Sunday after being exhausted from the first game. |
Yeah, the playoffs are structured in advantage of the top 2 from reg season. Would be more interesting if the play in teams played Saturday and play offs were all on Sunday. |
The two best teams in the division get the first round bye. Huge advantage. M&D and MDU pretty much a lock for Sunday's championship matchup. |
This has been the same NGLL championship since 3rd grade I believe. |
