2030 Girls Lacrosse

What options exist outside of MC, BLC, NL, Pride and Stars? Are tryouts over? We are new to the area and looking for a club. My athletic daughter has played for 2 years.

Yellow Jackets has tryouts tomorrow, 7/18. They are mostly girls from MC Elite and a few recent additions from other teams. They will practice in Bethesda / Potomac.

Does MC Elite have a team for 2030? Or they are now Stars? Confusing.

OP, did your daughter already try out for the teams you listed first or are you not interested in her playing for them? I think most teams will take a look at a player outside of tryouts if they are pretty good. You might want to reach out if you haven't.

We were under the impression that the teams I had listed tried out already. Good to hear NL and others are still a possibility. Thanks!

Next Level 2030 tryouts tonight and Wednesday.

Are you in DC, Maryland or VA? I'd think carefully about location if you don't want to burn an enormous amount of time driving to practices.

From what I've seen, the YJ 2030s are a very strong team.

Depending on where you are in Montgomery County, some Howard County programs may also be a consideration. HoCo is having second day of tryouts tomorrow

The entire 2030 team left MC and went to Yellow Jackets. No need to go into details, there are multipage threads that have it covered. MC was acquired by the St James. The goal is to have teams in Montgomery county under the MC flag and separate Stars teams in Virginia

Rebels will take your money. A good option for good rec players. Seems like everything younger than 27s is combo teams.
