3 Robinson 9-3-0 85.47 4.08 81.38

10 South Lakes 9-3-0 81.37 5.91 75.82

Feels like WP is ranked lower than they should be but probably due to schedule strength being lower than top 4.

Ya’ll would be correct - now #4

1 Yorktown 10-1-0 91.58 8.81 82.76

2 James Madison 5-5-085.71 0.30 85.41

3 Robinson 9-3-0 85.36 4.08 81.27

4 West Po 10-2-0. 85.31 6.58 78.73*

5 Langley 10-2-0 85.16 4.16 81.00

6 Woodson 8-5-0 82.82 2.84 79.97

7 Cosby 4-1-0 82.51 7.20 75.31

8 Battlefield 5-5-0 81.91 0.40 81.51

9 Oakton 8-5-0 81.57 1.00 80.57

10 South Lakes 9-3-0 81.44 5.91 75.53

Enough with misplacing West Potomac, frankly I'm not even sure how they made it up to the 4 spot. In my book they deserve more of the 5-6 spot, but their is a reason laxnumbers exists and maybe I am a bit low on them. Just because your daughters team couldn't muster up the big wins when it mattered doesn't you need to go around compensating for them on an online forum. So please if you know nothing about lacrosse stay off this page or at least don't post, stick to reading messages like mine where you can educate yourself on VHSL girls lacrosse.

I’d be interested in your top 10 thoughts.

I think the LaxNumbers ratings are interesting. Sometimes I doubt them because they are completely empirical and don’t take circumstances into consideration. But by the end of the year, they do typically represent a reasonable grouping.

For me —

I think Yorktown is 1…somewhat in a class by themselves.

Then Madison, Robinson, WestPo, Langley & Woodson in gaggle…where I believe they could all win or lose to any of the others. I think there is evidence of that within their records as they have mixed outcomes amongst each other & common opponents.

Of course, the great news is we won’t need to speculate much longer as it will all be mostly settled on the field.

Absolutely, but Bucks 1 should not be a debate, Greek Freak is the best basketball player in the playoffs right now and Damien Lillard is playing like Damien Lillard. I am a fan of the Timberwolves, but I believe my team is too young to achieve anything in the playoffs.
