I don't see anywhere in MoCo that's that far from UMBC.

Have you ever driven to/from UMBC during rush hours? Yea, didn't think so.

Driving to UMBC during rush hour is far better than driving to DAR.

DP but that's 100% true.
Used to do Uber sometimes, you could not pay me to drive to DAR/DC during rush hour. But I would do BWI in a heartbeat during rush hour.

But you can take metro to DAR if situation is really bad. You can’t metro to UMBC.

My child's high school has bus transportation to UMBC. If your child's high school doesn't, talk to the principal.

Larla!? on a bus!?

From what I saw, Baltimore county schools have graduations at Towson, and most of the PG HS schools are in the Xfinity Center arena from UMD or the Show Place Arena.

So you're saying pretty much that most of the high schools from neighboring counties have a place to graduate that's in their county, mean while half of the schools in our county are out of the county or further away, smh.

3,200 seats. DAR has 3,702. UMBC has 4,000. Xfinity (UMD) has 17,950.

For the half of students who are going to graduate from college, high school graduation is as meaningful as middle school graduation.

There is no such thing as middle school graduation. There is such a thing as high school graduation. Also, I disagree with your assessment.

The Soccerplex stadium has 3,200 seats in the bowl surrounding the field, but an overall capacity of 5,000.

So if the capacity exceeds UMBC's venue, which MCPS is currently using, why don't we use the Soccerplex for MCPS graduations?

So you should volunteer to serve on the next RFP.
