Did PRCS give them field space last year? If so, this field space was their allocation - Sportsplex. So now their new allocation will be their previous allocation+Sportsplex.

After crunching the rec numbers for all the clubs competing for space. They can't reallocate county fields that don't exist.

Yes they can, and they must. It is in their rules that someone linked earlier in this thread.
Private space gets subtracted from your allocation. FCV was originally allocated more field space and then lost some because of Evergreen. So now they don't lose allocation because of Evergreen. amd will be given more fieldspace.

They will crunch the numbers again on the rec leagues. They won't be given more fieldspace if it takes away from someone else's fair allocation.[/quote

According to their rules, they will. The private space reduces from FCV's fair allocation. Now that they don't have that, their fair allocation will go up.

*Crunch* nope didn't change

So if everyone else already has a fair allocation, and FCV should have more fields based on losing private space, then how do they decide who to take from?

I'm curious about this as well.

They can always take unlit space and just have earlier practice times.

In the fall you can practice 5:00-6:30 on an unlit field until late October

So they posted the tryouts for the lower level teams.
How do you know where your child's prospective team will be practicing? For instance, Hanson might be doable for someone on a weeknight but GMU 100% would not be.

I’m confused by this too. If a kid tries out at a certain location, are they only trying out for the team that practices there? From what I understand different level teams practice in different places. The team that currently practices at the field closest to our house (I think) is definitely below the level my child needs. If they wanted to try out for a top (pre-academy) team would they need to go to a specific location? Do kids have to move practice locations if they get moved up or down within the club? The website has zero transparency regarding the different level teams and coaches for each. I have had to piece my understanding together from people I know and from what I’ve seen at tournaments. It feels like they are hiding info on purpose so parents will sign up without knowing that their kid is actually on a low level team.
