DD has been in an in-home provider since 6mos old. Price has been a flat $230/wk. For toddlers it has included two meals plus snacks (I sent BM and babyfood when she was an infant).

We are moving to a preschool later this year and for all the kids, ages 2 and up, it's about $260/wk including lunch and two snacks.

We are in Arlington.

I pay 1,300/month for my 2 yr old in NW DC in the Brightwood/Takoma Park area. It's the same price for all groups 6 months to Pre-K. We also have to provide breakfast, lunch and snack. I don't mind becuase my child is a picky eater. It's center based.

We pay a little over $1600 for a two-year-old in Tysons. I'd love to find something cheaper but we're been so happy with the facility that I don't want to take a chance.

Related Question: How do these costs compare to a preschool for a 2-year old with an all day program. Should I expect the preschool to be more expensive?

Most full time Centers turn into pre-school programs with curriculums around the 16-24 month age so in that case prices would be the same. We have found that a lot of places that call themselves a "Pre-school" do not have full time/full day programs and the ones that do have full day are just a tad more expensive. This is in Northern VA.
