Also, I'm the poster who started at beta level 8, 48 hours later it was 29 (yay!) and just went for another test today.

Feeling good (actually feeling bad - nausea; etc, which is awesome!!).

My betas were also in the low 20s at 15 dpo, and then I spotted and cramped. My daughter is now 5.

16 days post IUI, negative pregnancy tests. Went to do my beta today. It shows 3.510. The lab says they consider this to be a positive but the beta levels are very low. I have no idea what's going on. Going to the doc on Sunday.

18:18 - Where do you go? I had my first beta today as well (after IVF) - it was 5.1. They said they consider anything 5 and above to be positive, but that this is very low and could be indication that it may be a chemical pregnancy. Then she said that "it is also early" and to come back on Monday to repeat the test. I'm at 15 days post transfer. My clinic is SG. I sometimes feel hopeful, other times not so much. Please update on what happens on Sunday and good luck!!!

Day 17 post IUI, negative pregnancy test and no period. I stopped the Utrogestan on day 14 post IUI. I was told I'll get my period (if I am not pregnant) within 24 hours, yet 3 days later no AF. My beta is very so being pregnant is probably out of the question?! No idea what's going on. Hopefully the doc will have more inside tomorrow.

Still day 17 post IUI and can't sleep, what a surprise! I got some very dark brown spotting which stopped about 3 hours later. From what I've read this sounds like implantation bleeding ...EXCEPT I've never heard of implantation bleeding on day 17 grrrrrrr....

I wish you all the luck on Monday. All you have to do is double/triple the beta levels, fingers crossed

My dark brown, very late, "crap here comes my period" spotting was just put to bed after throwing an enormous tantrum in the family room. Sending good thoughts your way.

Just got back from the clinic. The verdict - chemical pregnancy. Doc said this is the reason my period hasn't arrived yet. She said I should wait for the AF to show up and then go back to the clinic for further check ups. To be honest, I expected the bad news so I am not too disappointed. Nevertheless, I am a little confused as I thought another blood (beta) test should be done, just to be sure that there is no movement on the betas. Doc said there is no need. Oh well,

Looking forward to IUI number 2. Hopefully next cycle.

Hope your test turns ok. Sending a lot of betas and good wishes your way and don't worry about the tantrums. I've got my big grump on. My husband thinks I am Dexter lol

Day 18 post IUI late afternoon, Venting Day. The AF just made its Grand entry! Husband hiding in the guest room saying is not safe to be around me. Off to the gym for double session to get my frustration out, then going out with husband and friends. Looking forward to a very nice bottle of wine and I am not sharing it with anybody!.... Now that I am allowed to drink grrrrrrrrr....

Doc says I should go for a check up on day 4-5 of the cycle to see whether there are any complications (complications? what complications?) But also to see how the new follicles are developing for the next insemination.
This getting pregnant business and not succeeding is no fun! Doing what I can to keep my chin up. Tomorrow is a different day..

I know these posts are a little old but was hoping someone could up my spirits. I started feeling pregnant about a week ago. I took my first pregnancy test and it was the faintest line ever. It almost looked like a shadow line or an evap line. I took 3 more tests every day after and the same faint line appeared. I am currently taking Warfarin for a blood clot in my leg so it was very important to know if I am or not because of the dangerous effects it can have on an unborn baby. Just out of paranoia I skipped a couple doses of it in case I was. I know that Warfarin does not run the risk of causing birth defects until 6 - 9 weeks but I am still worried so I just stopped. I went into the emergency room last night and asked for a confirmation of pregnancy because that is what nurses wanted me to do. They took my blood and I got a beta level of 18. They said it was "weakly pregnant" and to follow up with my ob and stop the medication. I am trying to stay positive and hopeful about this but I am so worried. I have a blood test in 2 days and I just want to hear that It is rising!! I had to of ovulated late because we had sex on January 9th. It really bothers me that I have no idea when I ovulated. I kept track of it and then it changed. I am just hoping I am in very early pregnancy and that is all the number is giving right now. Please make me feel better!
