Docs consider a positive test to be over 50, so wait for your next beta.

You know what, I've been there and for me, a low beta meant a chemical. For most people, it will for a few lucky souls it sticks. I spent a lot of time online after my low beta looking for hope. It was false hope. It's hard news to hear, but it is what it is.

That said, six months later we have another positive and are hoping for a good beta. Most of us will eventually bring a healthy baby home. That's the true hope. Even if this pregnancy doesn't work out, eventually, one likely will. The key is keeping your sanity in this process which is easier said than done. For me, less testing is better than more.

I think it also depends how many dpo you are that you get your betas. A low number doesn't mean much as long as it's doubling. My chemical pregnancy's first beta (12 dpo) was 39 and second was 46. My current normal pregnancy's first beta (8dpo) was 25 and second was 113. So the first number doesn't mean much.
