This also completely ignores how much data mining the Chinese govt is doing on Americans. They’re creating psych profiles for every American based on the type of content you’re consuming and know what makes you tick and which faction of people you belong with while simultaneously knowing which faction of people are opposite of you. They can weaponize social media platforms to flood you with content to make you angry and divide the country and cause civil unrest. It’s literally a psyops app for the Chinese government. It insane we allow it in our country. We will be absolutely doomed when the Chinese allow all sorts of deep fake and AI generated video clips to flood the platform. They’ll introduce all sorts of fake events and audio clips related to political issues in order to foment unrest and division. People will soon be unable to discern reality from completely fake AI generated content. And by people, I really mean your kids who are growing up with this crap.

Yet China is able to ban American social media apps in China. If they can figure it out, so can we. Really amazing China bans American social media because they don’t want their citizens’ data in the hands of American companies yet we should allow the Chinese to flood our country with their apps that collect our citizens data?

The campaign on the part of Tik Tok for users to contact their Congress members and advocate FOR the CCP-controlled app shows just how much control these people have on our youth. There is a reason they call the frequent users "influencers."

Even besides all of the nefarious ties to the CCP, the app itself is toxic trash. It is literally making people stupider. Kids these days can no longer focus, and their attention spans are shot because they’ve grown up getting instant gratification from 2-3 second TikTok clips. They’re incapable of reading or focusing their brains on a complex task for more than 5 minutes because their minds have been rotted by years of TikTok use they consume everyday for hours on end. It is ruination. I doubt kids will even be able to read or think about difficult problems in the future because they will no longer be able to focus for more than a few minutes. TikTok literally trains peoples’ brains to become ADD. It is making millions of people stupider and more impulsive everyday day. People get enraged if they don’t get instant gratification in minutes. It’s nuts this thing is allowed to poison our country.
