VRSC

And did they hire him for the sports academy specifically. So how does this improve their NSCL EDP teams?

Ha, Loudoun is "more established" because its been around 30+ years but a terrible program. Our coach is 1000% better than the Loudoun Soccer one which is a big reason why we left in the first place. My son's current team could easily handle their RL team (have not seen the ECNL team so won't make that claim). Whatever BS you are spewing about VRSC is absolutely wrong. Better training, facilities, and coaching at VRSC hands down over LS. LS only cares about their ECNL teams and its starting to show big time. We were don't with their crap and much happier in VR's program and didn't want to travel super far.
PP - Don't get it twisted, LS has also lost some really great coaches so that argument is DOA.

Calm down Niko and Marvin. We’re just asking around. We’re not attacking your club or Loudoun’s club.

Thanks for proving my point that VRSC is a bunch of disgruntled loudoun families. LOL. You're drinking the cool aid from the bar. Tastes good? We were there for a year and I thought the experience killed my child's love of soccer but we moved to a new club/team and passion is back.

ROFLMAO!!!!!!!!!!

That is possibly the funniest and most delusional thing I've read here in a while and that's saying a lot considering the amount of BS that gets posted here!!

Most of the kids that come over from FCV or Loudoun love VRSC. Parents are amazed at how much better communication is at VRSC. The coaches that we have had are great. They must be doing things well when you look at their growth over the last 5 years.

Quantity over quality. Growth is good for them but they don’t attract talent

VRSC is better if you came from Loudoun’s mid tier teams because those get no love at LS. Nobody from ECNL teams switched to VRSC. It’s apples and oranges. I hope the growth continues because competition is a good thing

Aren’t the terminated/resigned FCV coaches bringing all the United North teams over? There’s the growth.

They are certainly trying to convince families/players to follow them over to Revolution. But that's complicated by the fact that several of the FCV United teams have families/players who left Revolution previously and don't want to go back. That leads to conversations among parents about why they feel that way. Some of those reasons will understandably give FCV parents pause. So then they're torn between FCV coaches telling them "it's going to be just like it was before when we were FCV but better!" and parents who left Revolution telling them "I'd have to be crazy to take my son/daughter back there again". Quite the dilemma and not a decision that any parent is going to enjoy making.

May not be much of a decision once you consider the downside of being a new player on a team with a new coach for 1 year

I’ll take the devil I know vs the unknown

For 1 year a new coach could be a blessing.
