DW used to be a magistrate. Lot's of people walking and driving with high BACs. They don't make the news here, because it's just normal for the area. https://www.9news.com.au/national/queensland-police-charge-woman-over-high-range-drink-driving/28a7b066-811f-46ec-a493-220fc91a3a4b |
If they're seeing a magistrate, then they aren't driving just fine with a high bac. |
All she had to do was not drive when she was drunk. If you're too drunk to walk then you're sure as Hell too drunk to drive. I am so sick of making excuses for the rich. Call it what it was. She was drunk and caused her own death,!!!!! The only good thing about this is that she didn't kill or maim someone else! |
Yes, this is the part I don't understand. We have an electric car (not a Tesla, but wholly electric) and as soon as your take your foot off the accelerator, the car slows rapidly. In fact, I rarely use the brakes when driving. |
+1 exactly |
Yes. And more importantly, don't drink and drive!! |
Seriously!!! |
She walked to the car. |
Why are you hanging out with the perpetrators your DW magistrates for? |
Most of us already have them, in the form of the stalks that the cars' headrests ride on. Press the button on the side, pull the headrest all the way up (the way you have to in order to remove them to install a carseat)--two nice sharp pointy metal bits right there. Conveniently stored right behind the driver at all times. |
And if everything was fine, they were before a magistrate why? |
Wow thanks! |
Probably stumbling. |
PP obviously meant "fine" in the sense that they aren't dead |
Agree, I never thought about this. |
