At this point, I don’t trust anything coming from Zionists, I have found Israelis to be deceitful, liars and world class propagandists. Now I question the history as well.

Getting your news from tik tok again? Grow up.

Again. How many children do your sources say have died? How many are orphaned? How many were maimed?

Great
Come back considering who you are defending. There is no arguing the facts! How are the Hamas Terrorists at UNRWA doing? About the hospital bombing, what about the fake rapes, etc, etc.

Israel tries to hide the way it evicted Palestinians from their homes and land. It won't release IDF archives from the time of the Nakba, and much of that information was not publicly available until older IDF and Irgun veterans began to confess to the atrocities they committed or witnessed from their own side. It's hard to support a country that was birthed by that sort of cruelty, and to this day it behaves the same way in the West Bank, gradually terrorizing the indigenous Palestinians out of their homes and stealing their land.

Very disappointed. It makes the U.S. complicit in this genocide.

Yep. Biden is the bad guy. The US is 100% complicit

Hey MAGA!

Please stop with this dumb response. I don't know anyone happy with this decision. All Dems, GenX and Boomers. The Dems are going to lose the plot here soon with voters beyond GenZ. If the trajectory continues, we may be looking at 70K deaths + 1k Israeli soldier deaths by November. 60% of voters do not approve of how Biden is handling the war, according to a recent Wall Street Journal poll. We've been screaming about minority rule wrt many issues, so Biden can ignore that at his own risk. He will be the only one responsible for a Trump victory.

One side has a lot of casualties--what usually happens in wars in this case? They demand that the winning side stop and the winning side says OK? No.

Yeah, you missed the plot. I think what Israel response is atrocious, but I’m not an involved party, so that’s on them. I DO NOT wasn’t my taxpayer $$$ funding the mass murder of innocent civilians, who are now starving to death. In addition to all the kids killed there are 17,000 new orphans.

Israel can use its own cash for its bombing.

You are relying on information from a terrorists organization when you cite those numbers. Additionally, I don’t believe you really care about where your US dollars are spent except if Jews are involved. You seem to be perfectly ok that your dollars are being spent to help Ukraine kill Russians. You think there aren’t civilians being killed by Ukraine in that war? How about all the millions who were killed in Syria? Do you care about them? This is a hot button issue only because Jews are involved. We see you.

Well if Israel hadn’t killed 97 journalists and was allowing NGOs inside, maybe we’d have more reliable information. Oxfam estimates it’s also the deadliest conflict in a quarter century, not that you care. They probably aren’t even factoring in Israeli soldier deaths, which have a very high rate of friendly fire.

You’re also wrong about me. I do not support sending weapons anywhere, including Ukraine. Too often they have harmed Americans or later gotten into the wrong hands.

But sure keep throwing around antisemitism and dilute its meaning.

If you consider those deaths as winning, don’t bemoan any unforeseen outcomes.

It seems that Hamas is willing to lay down their weapons for a two state solution. Israel of course is the roadblock.

And it is truly bonkers that we are funding Israeli’s military while on the other hand building a pier to help correct the mess they’ve made. I understand Biden stands with Israel on principal and that he needs to attend to the needs of his Jewish voters and funder but his administration’s policy truly makes no sense.
_________
Pentagon spokesperson Major General Patrick Ryder told reporters that construction of the pier, announced in March by US President Joe Biden, has started.

The pier will receive ships carrying desperately needed aid for the people of Gaza, thousands of whom are facing imminent famine.

“I can confirm that US military vessels, to include the USNS Benavidez, have begun to construct the initial stages of the temporary pier and causeway at sea,” Ryder told reporters.

Israel will always move the goal post. Why not? There are not consequences. Their attack on Iran was an act of war and the US stepped in to stop the consequences.

How can the IDF say this with a straight face? Shame on Politico for including it in the article:

"“This is further proof of the continuous attempts made by the terrorist organizations in the Gaza Strip to systematically harm humanitarian efforts, endangering the lives of UN workers while Israel remains committed to enable and facilitate humanitarian aid to Gazan civilians,” according to the IDF statement.""

I don’t think Israel has its own cash. Half the country is senior citizens, kids, or retired expats

Lots of countries have original sin. Israel is not unique in this but they are unique in the lack of self awareness. “The past is the past” when referring to the 1948 Nakba is rich when Germany can’t get out of reparations by saying the same
