Very disappointed. It makes the U.S. complicit in this genocide.

Yep. Biden is the bad guy. The US is 100% complicit

They are such scum of the earth.

He appears to be alive! I did not think he'd make it, given the blood loss from the grenade. But if this is a recent picture, then he's probably still alive! Israel needs to negotiate for the hostages' release.

Israel does not want him back. He is obviously Hamas…how else would he have survived the bombings?

I called Jamie Raskin's office today to thank him for his vote and his very well thought out newsletter on this issue. I'm proud to say he's my representative. He voted against it as the amendment he proposed - one which called with terms and conditions on the distribution of weapons to Israel - was vetoed. He's earned my vote.

I also called Cardin and Van Hollen to let them know that they have lost my vote. Despite evident awareness and mere vocal calls for this to stop, it is clear that they are not willing to stand up for human life.

I encourage anyone else who feels the same way to do the same.

It passed by a 366-58 margin, Raskin knew that his vote would be purely symbolic. That’s fine, but let not make it out like he was a hero.

He even said so in his statement, which was pretty good and made sense because it reflects the way many people feel: Israel should be allowed to defend itself, we should help Israel win against Hamas, Netanyahu is awful. I'm sure he would have voted differently if his vote were needed to pass it.

He's underground, so he's probably safer than most. He's clearly very thin, though. Let's hope malnutrition doesn't get him.

Hey MAGA!

Please stop with this dumb response. I don't know anyone happy with this decision. All Dems, GenX and Boomers. The Dems are going to lose the plot here soon with voters beyond GenZ. If the trajectory continues, we may be looking at 70K deaths + 1k Israeli soldier deaths by November. 60% of voters do not approve of how Biden is handling the war, according to a recent Wall Street Journal poll. We've been screaming about minority rule wrt many issues, so Biden can ignore that at his own risk. He will be the only one responsible for a Trump victory.

Mike Johnson’s interview with Erin Burnett is chilling. Our political leaders are in a trance, under the spell of their overlords.

It’s nauseating to witness. We are lost.

Our government can pick a side. Nothing wrong with that. We don't have to side with Iran and Palestine.

One side has a lot of casualties--what usually happens in wars in this case? They demand that the winning side stop and the winning side says OK? No.

Are you OK with whatever side they happen to pick? What if it’s Iran tomorrow? All good?

This question does not make any sense. You don't want governments to pick sides at all? Or, are you just asking for my personal opinion?

I already know your personal opinion.

You are only OK with governments picking sides because you stand behind the side that has already been picked.

If it was a jump ball or leaning in the direction of the other side, you would be howling that governments should NOT be permitted to pick sides.

Right?
