DC school board candidates?

Those who don't learn from history shouldn't be serving on a school board.

I don't live in DC either, and I am absolutely interested to know this! I live not too far from Canada, and I am astonished to know that you people elected a real life reptilian kitten eater for your version of a governor! I love kittens, but I also understand the circle of life, so I don't know whether to be horrified or tickled!

Ashley Carter could learn a few things from you guys for sure.

Because of some irrelevant comments from Carter's account people here are going to vote for a Social Justice Warrior who changed the health education standards to get the schools to start teaching transgenderism? How about we focus on the policy issues rather focusing on comments that have no bearing on how the schools are run.

Well at least Ashley logged out this time...

I think Ashley is innocent this time. The thread go linked on Reddit so we can probably expect more such posts.

Man, Reddit ruins everything.

I don't live in DC anymore (recent 'burbs expat) - but this thread is golden. Oh, DC, don't ever change!

I wish they would stop referring to the person as someone who logged into an account and email owned by Ashley Carter. Or maybe I should start doing that. A cheesecake was taken from the office refrigerator today by a person using a set of arms belonging to Jan Dingle...

I cannot stop laughing at this.

Wait, there's a 19 year old also running for this?!??

"Tony Donaldson, a 19-year-old freshman at Howard University, is also challenging Lord. He said the board lacks the voice of someone who has experienced the impact of its policies firsthand."

There should be a dedicated spot for a current or recent high school student. How else can we get input from those directly impacted by education policy?

Oh wait, how about having Ashley's volunteer serve in that role. Certainly sounds like the person is a child.

Really? I'd guess Ashley Carter's"volunteer" is a wholly owned subsidiary of Ashley Carter. Her arm, for example.

Voted for Tony Donaldson.

I thought the only reason to create an account was to post in the explicit forum. Is Ashley a regular contributor there?

I am the candidate and am personally writing to apologize for the comment that was written earlier. This is my account and I occasionally post mom related event information around the city on this forum.
Today's comment was written by a volunteer who was using my laptop to do other campaign related activities while I was not around. I was unaware of what was going on until I returned just now.
The comment was completely inappropriate and should not have been written. I have run a completely positive campaign and will continue to do so for the remaining eight days. Needless to say, the volunteer involved will no longer be helping me.

Please feel free to contact me directly if you would like to discuss this matter further.

You occasionally post mom related events? According to your profile, you've only posted 4 messages, all on this thread. Am I missing something?

I agree. How about electing someone who recently went through the DC public school system and knows first hand what DC students are going through. Someone like Tony Donaldson.

But what does his neck look like?
