Brutal for the class of ‘24.
Likely didn’t get a high school graduation during COVID in 2020, and now won’t get a traditional college graduation

They have to reverse this decision, fix it.

No.

“They have to” expel the illegal Hamas rioters from the university and have them arrested for trespassing.

The university has repeatedly told these students (and the outsiders) they are disrupting the university and must protests elsewhere.

Supporting a designated terrorist organization is not an unlimited right on campus, especially when it denies someone else’s education.

In this case, they don't. These aren't the anti-war protests of the 1970s. These are protests about a country and a region on another continent that we are not directly involved in.

Students can ask schools to "divest" and schools won't. Where are the political implications?

Does it feel to anyone like the 2020 protestors had nothing to do, got bored, and are showing up at these universities and other protests? Feels like same day, different cause. Hard to believe they care that much about the purported cause-just about shouting loudly.

No It feels like the right wing extremists who were infiltrating protest during the trumps years leading to Jan6 are now actively attacking peaceful protest. Nothing new here. These students are extremely brave.
