He’s been straddling the fence trying to appease both sides of the far left of his party. Now everyone hates him.

No he hasn't.

He has been consistent:
-stand by Israel and it's right to exist/self-defense.
-Provide aid for the Palestinians
-Try for a two-state solution.

Netanyhu totally screwed Biden to cause what we have on the ground today and Putin couldn't be happier.

So, in your world, both Israeli and Palestinian supporters are thrilled with Biden?

The number of Israeli and Palestinian supporters are a very very small fraction of the general public. Sure, initially Israel had a lot of support. And then Palestine had a lot of support. Then most people moved on (as Congress stalled and stalled...).

Now universities are losing their minds. Outside of the ivory tower, though? We've moved on.

I think that’s a reflection of your social life.

Zero.

Yeah, those protests have really been tearing up Dallas and Milwaukee and Richmond and Phoenix and San Diego.

Oh, wait….

And Beirut and Damascus and Cairo and Amman and Riyadh... oh that's right. There aren't any protests there either.

The protests are very localized to a few American colleges with either naive or belligerent students brainwashed by TikTok and some far left professors. And I'm pretty confident it's not the engineering and premed students that are causing all the mayhem.

Calm down. This is nothing like Covid. They will get in-person smaller graduation ceremonies with speakers at the separate schools within the university. I prefer those anyway. Who likes those mass graduation ceremonies?

I have to admit this makes me nervous for my university's ceremony in a few weeks. We don't have a particularly political student body but you never know.

Most people. Speak for yourself.

This is a disaster on the PR front and it’s all going back to Biden.

So bizarre. Yes, university students have lost their minds. As have university administrations.

This really doesn't redound onto Biden. It doesn't.

We’ll see. I’d guess it’s more likely to cause blowback against the left (remember “defund the police”?).

TBD

Brutal for the class of ‘24.
Likely didn’t get a high school graduation during COVID in 2020, and now won’t get a traditional college graduation

Good.

Sad, devastating even. Women and minorities in this country, especially, deserve better than what's coming.

oh that's rich.

Rs have just set women's right to control their bodies back 50 years, and let's not forget how much Rs despise any DEI.

Most people despise DEI now, in case you haven’t noticed. This is what DEi has wrought.

November can’t come soon enough

Most people are supportive of DEI. November is just going to result in status quo. The only real question is whether Trump will be in prison before November but looks like SCOTUS kicked the issue back down to the lower courts so he won his delay. I guess we'll see him in prison in 2025.

No “most people” are not. In fact “most people” have been screwed over at some point by idiotic DEI policies and practices.

There is no question that the tide has turned against DEI, but Biden was still be relected.

Nah, he'll pardon himself and the corrupt SCOTUS will grant him the authority to do so, just this once.

Hamas has nothing to do with this. A Muslim valedictorian was denied a chance to speak due to pressure from pro-Israel groups. It seems Islamophobia is totally okay. But anything deemed “antisemitic” must be shut down immediately.

Quick question: in the US, how many hate crimes do Jewish people commit?

Answer: zero.

Jewish people may be touchy and oversensitive about antisemitism - but they aren't violent. So it's not a bad thing to protect them from violence and harassment.

I am the victim of a hate crime by a Jewish person.

I know that there have been protests every week in Milwaukee and Dallas and Phoenix. Don't know about SD and Richmond. I was just in Ann Arbor this weekend and couldn't see any protests but apparently there is one there.maybe the protesters aren't as loud an unruly, maybe they are taking a page out of Dr. King's book and are peacefully showing up and gathering to sho in number what they stand for but that isn't as exciting as watching young people fighting with the police.
