Grown men wearing AirPods give anyone else the ick?

Anonymous
The only thing "icky" here is the OP and their stupid, sexist post.

Inflated self importance

That’s what I assume.

Don’t talk to me, I be busy with my musak audio book. Ask someone else to do my chores . I got me AirPods in!

This is such a weird take. I’m wondering if OP feels the same way about the wired earbuds? I guess it would irritate me if someone wore them during dinner, for instance. But commuting, walking the dog, sitting at their desk at work? That seems very normal to me.

And I am laughing at someone who says “the ick” complaining about something being juvenile.

lol

+1

Like the Entitled Housewife skits!
Must keep earbuds in so everyone knows she’s only talking to Trish, never you, unless she needs something.

I keep mine in most of the time while I'm out because I like to listen to my own music while I'm running errands and not whatever Target might be playing while I'm there. I'm a woman. Do I think listening to music while out is ultra feminine? Ummmm, no. Also, there are some really dope podcasts out there too.

Go touch some grass and stop worrying abt other people.

Or maybe it's just men who seem to have them in their ears all day (doing what, listening to NPR or podcasts all day? like they can't just enjoy some silence and their own thoughts). I can't explain it but it gives me the ick.

NPR? Really? LOL
Spoken like a true lib. You clearly have too much time on your hands and men probably don’t talk to you and this makes you angry. Hence, your post above. Jeez….get a life.

No, but grown women saying 'ick' is creepy. Is it a safe bet you also say 'don't yuck my yum?'

Like yours?

No, mine are always super interesting and highly educational for anyone who reads them.

No, not always.

Well why don't you tell us what you listen to now that Rush Limbaugh is no longer with us.

This is one of the dumbest threads I have read in the last 3 years of regular scrolling.

-guy with 3 pairs of AirPods that is thinking of upgrading to the new version.

Do you wear all 3 pairs at the same time, because that would be ultra icky.

I don’t think “the ick” is something that is necessarily actually bad/gross/weird etc… isn’t the whole point that it is often a fairly normal thing that the ick-er feels unusually strongly about? Idk why people are getting so defensive here.

An adult woman posting that something gives her the "ick" shows her stupidity and lack of class.

She (the OP) and the other PPs could have worked harder to create something that did not make them appear to be 12 girls playing on Mom's computer.

People letting Zoom calls blast from their computers is the worst. I love when people wear any kind of headphone.
