Join us for a reading with DC-area writer moms followed by conversation and connection. The Write Like a Mother reading is the inaugural event of the new DC regional chapter of Scribente Maternum, a community of writers who identify as mothers.
Feel free to arrive at 1:45 for casual conversation & connection (and some light refreshments).
At 2:00, we'll start our reading with several local moms sharing fiction, poetry and creative nonfiction. A conversation about craft and writing while parenting will follow.
We'll plan to wrap the program at 3:30 but have the room until 4:00, so those who wish to stick around can continue sharing and networking.
This is event is free and open to the public. RSVPs are helpful but not required.
