All girls and parents/guardians are invited to a open house welcome party to learn about Scouts BSA Troop 248 for Girls.  Learn about the great outdoor adventures the troop will be taking to camp, hike, horseback ride, mountain climb and much more.  Learn how the girls will regularly interact with leading female business, social and political leaders.  We welcome girls age 11 (or in fifth grade) through 17 from all areas of Washington, DC and will be meeting twice a month on Saturday mornings from 10 - Noon at All Souls Episcopal Church, 2300 Cathedral NW (Woodley Park Metro station).  We have 20 months of schedule and activity detail posted at www.ScoutsBsaDcGirls.org.

We have 15 women and men adult volunteer leaders with over 150 years of combined experience in Scouting and will welcome additional adult volunteers.  Experience in youth service organizations is helpful but not needed.

Scouts BSA Troop 248 for Girls does not engage in product sales, such as cookies or popcorn.  We are an inclusive and non-discriminatory organization.  We implement the program formerly known as Boy Scouts in an all-girl setting.  Girls lead the program with assistance from qualified and trained adults following youth protection practices required by the Episcopal Church and the BSA.
